IX: Abandonment.

[Chapter Nine: Abandonment.] ~(Y/n)'s POV~

I woke up in my bed, gasping for air as fresh tears stained my cheeks. I covered my mouth and hid my face in my pillow as I sobbed violently. The images still flashed threw my head... So much blood, bodies, and Leo's dimmed eyes...

And it wasn't real. It was a stupid nightmare, a warning for me from my dark side. I took a few deep breaths to try and calm myself. I slowly got up and threw my legs over the side of my bed.

I looked over to see Mikey sleeping in a chair, it was his turn to watch me and make sure I didn't do anything... Well stupid.

I smiled slightly and grabbed my blanket from my bed and slowly covered him. I remembered how in the nightmare I had almost killed him. I didn't want to hurt the boy that acted like my little brother in real life. I sighed and sat on my bed, thinking.

My dark side didn't want me to get close to them... Including Leo. She made that clear in the nightmare.

I bit my lip as I started to hyperventilate, I started to gulp in breaths of air as I held my head. I heard the door creek open and someone gasp.

"(Y/n)!?" Said a familiar voice. 'Oh gods...' I thought as I looked up and saw.... Leo.

My eyes widened as I made a strangled sound. "L-Leo..." I whispered.

He walked over to me and put an arm slowly and hesitantly around my shoulders. "You alright (Y/n)?" He said soothingly.

I nodded and tried to get out of his grip. "Im fine...." I whispered as a pounding headache formed in my head.

Leo sighed. "I know your lying (Y/n)..." He mumbled.

I sighed and bit my lip even harder. "Fine," I spat. "Ill tell you Leonardo. I had a nightmare, okay? And I killed y-you and everyone I had grown close to. And I couldn't stop myself because my dark side was doing it." I sighed as my eyes watered.

Leo stayed silent as he waited for me to go on. "I... I killed my parents... My siblings... And totured my caring, young sister. I-I need to leave... Im a danger to you all...." I whispered as I stood up.

Leo grabbed my hand. "(Y/n)... I don't care... Don't live in the past... Yes maybe you killed people, but it's about the decisions you make today. Because you can't change the future..."

I gulped as I shook my head, yanking my arm out of his grasp. "N-No I cant... I can't think about the future when I have all this guilt on my shoulders."

Leo stood up and stood in from of me. "Then let me help you carry the guilt..." I shook my and looked at him confused.

"Why do you care so much Leo? When you shouldn't... Even care at all." I whispered as I went around him and picked up my leather jacket and my two katanas. I placed my katanas at my hips and walked up to Leo.

"Take care of Nightmare for me, will you? And make sure he doesn't try and find me. He's stubborn enough to go and get me, no matter the consequences."

I walked out of my room as Leo followed me. I turned around as he opened his mouth to speak. I sighed and crossed my arms, jutting out my hip.

He sighed. "I really can't change your mind can I?"

I shook my head. "Nope."

Leo smiled slightly. "Your so stubborn, you know that right?" I laughed and nodded. He... blushed and looked down. My eyes widen when I saw pink coloring his cheeks.

'He doesn't like me! R-Right?' I thought to myself as he looked up at me, his blue eyes almost shinning

My heart thumped as he leaned in close. "I have a question..." Leo mumbled, his face close to mine.

I gulped. "Ask away..."

"C-Can I try something?" He whispered. I nodded. He smiled softly and leaned in. And then when he was terribly close he whispered. "I-I think I'm in love... With you~" Leo whispered and then....

He... Kissed... Me.

*Starts to cry and scream* IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!! You guys kissed! Okay so I just wanted to clear some things up.. You, reader-chan, had a nightmare, a warning caused by your dark side.
