9. A Revolt

Talulahh's POV

Hiccup and I stood at the docks watching the Vikings load Toothless onto a boat. I had stopped crying but I felt like if anyone provoked me I'd probably start again.

We watched, silently, until all of the ships were out of sight. Astrid came up behind us. "It's a mess. You two must feel horrible. You've lost everything. Your father, your tribe. " She turned to Hiccup." Your best friend. "

"Thank you, Astrid. For summing that up. " I said sarcastically.

" Why couldn't we have killed that dragon when we found him in the woods? Would've been better for everyone." Hiccup asked.

"Yep the rest of us would've done it. So why didn't you?" Astrid asked Hiccup. I'm so glad they're getting along.

Hiccup stayed quiet." Why didn't you? " She repeated.

"I don't know. I couldn't." He replied.

"That's not an answer." I told him.

"Why is this so important to y'all all of the sudden?"

"Because we wanna remember what you say, right now." Astrid answered.

"Oh for the love of- I was a coward. I was weak. I wouldn't kill a dragon." Hiccup said.

"You said wouldn't that time." I observed.

"Oh, what ever. I wouldn't! Three hundred years and," he turned to look at me."you and I are the first two Vikings who wouldn't kill a dragon. "

"First two to r one, though. " Astrid reasoned." sooo? "

"I wouldn't kill him because he looked as frightened as I was. I looked at him an I saw myself." He explained genuinely.

I smiled, "That's what I saw in Sapphire."

"I bet Toothless is really frightened now." Astrid looked at Hiccup and I.  "What are you ganna do about it."

"Probably something stupid." I answered.

"Good. But you've already done that." She replied.

"Then something crazy." Hiccup said before walking off.

I tried to follow but Astrid pulled me back. "If that something is dangerous, please don't get hurt." She asked before kissing my cheek.

"I won't." I told her. I walked off to find Hiccup. I hoped that what I told Astrid was true.

One thing you should know about me, I'll do anything for the people I love, I count Toothless as one of those.

Hiccup slowly led the Monstrous Nightmare towards Snotlout. He tried to pick up a spear from off of the ground.

Astrid hit his arm,"uh-uh."

When Hiccup and the dragon got close enough my brother took Snotlout's hand and place it on the Nightmare's snout.

The dragon started purring and Snotlout laughed out of relief.

I smiled at the two then went to the Nadder cage.
I copied Hiccup's actions and brought the dragon to Astrid.

She was less hesitant than Snotlout, but still nervous. I grabbed her hand and placed it on the Nadder, just like my twin did with Snotlout.

Everyone bonded with a dragon. Ruff and Tuff got the Zippleback. Fishlegs, the Gronkle. And, well, you know the others.

Hiccup grabbed some ropes. "You're gonna need something to hang on to." He told them.

"Wait. How are you and Talulahh gonna come?" Tuff asked.

"Hiccup can ride with me." I said. I almost laughed at their confused expressions.

"Ride on what? You don't have a dragon." Snotlout told me.

"Just wait." I told them before yipping as loud as I could.

I watched the sky until I saw Sapphire. Everyone's jaws, besides Astrid's, Hiccup's, and mine, were on the floor.

I laughed and hopped on my dragons back. "This is Sapphire.
