I kneeled down in the dirt. I had been planting seeds in my garden all day. I looked a mess, I had dirt all over me.

I was about to place another seed into the ground when I heard yelling near Hiccup's hut.

I looked up to see Sapphire already staring straight at me. "Let's go check that out, Saph."

Discardeding the pouch of seeds to the side, I hopped onto Sapphire's back and we took off.

I walked in to see Gustav and Hiccup facing each other. Fanghook was on top of Astrid. "Gustav?" I akssd.

"Gustav, what are you doing here?"Hiccup questioned as I helped Astrid up from under Fanghook. "I-I mean, to what do we owe them pleasure of this visit?"

The rest of the dragon riders burst in an Snotlout said, "Hiccup, did you hear Gustav is...standing right beside you. Perfect."

"Your looking a little different there, Guster." Tuff said.

"Yeah, I'm growing a beard." Gustav shrugged. I squinted really hard to see a singular hair on his chin.

"Really? Let me see." Tuff also had to squint. "Ha! Even Ruffnut has more hair on he chiny-chin-chin than that."

Tuff plucked the singular hair, causing Gustav to stumble backwards. He ran into Hiccup's desk an saw the Dragon Eye. "Hey, what's that thing?"

"Oh." Hiccup tried to warn bit it was to late. Gustav shined it into his own eyes.

"Oh! Woah! You see these spots? Some sort of sun sword?" Gustav muttered.

"I'll take that. " Hiccup took the Dragon Eye out of the young boy's hands." No, Gustav, it's not a sun sword."

Hiccup handed the object to Fishlegs." It's the Dragon Eye, and it's very old an very fragile. " the Ingerman boy explained.

"Woah, these spots, they're not going away. " Gustav walked into one of Toothless's tails that hung on the wall. It fell but luckily Toothless caught it.

"It isn't something to just be touched." Fishlegs continued.

"Relax, Fishlegs, I know what I'm doing. " Gustav replied. Gustav walked into the wall again, this time knocking all of the tails off.

"Gustav, Gustav, over here." Snotlout said. "Uh, when are you leaving?"

"That's funny, Snotlout, but I'm not leaving. I'm moving here." Gustav put his hands on his hips.

Everyone gasped. Oh, I pray to the gods that this isn't true.

"Ha ha! Yeah, yeah, you are." Tuff said, obviously thinking that Gustav was joking." Wait, he's serious? I'll get the stake and firewood. "

"I'll help. "I told him.

"Oh, hold on, hold on. No one is burning anyone at the stake. " Hiccup burst out bubble.

"Hiccup's right. Let's just throw him off the cliff. " Ruff offered.

"Guys, I'm sure there's a simple explanation." Hiccup turned to Gustav. "Please tell me there's a simple explanation, Gustav."

"Yeah, very simple. By the way, do not look right into that sun, sword thing. Ha ha ha! Whoo! anyway, you said, when I was ready, I could join the Dragon Riders. Well, I'm ready and I'm here to join. Where is my hut?"

"Wait a minute, why do we have to watch him? "Astrid asked. Her and I have been paired up to watch Gustav. Yay us.

"I would do it, but I'm making some, just, major breakthroughs with the Dragon Eye." Hiccup explained.
