56. Wing Maidens

Talulahh's POV:

The rest of us stood outside of Snotlout's hut, listening to Astrid yell at him and Snotlout shout back.

"Oh, Astrid, stop. You're so bossy!" Snotlout said, most likely having rolled his eyes.

"What's mine is mine." Astrid shot back.

"I mean, how was I supposed to know?" Snotlout questioned. "Do you know how many axes there are on this island?"

I could tell Astrid was getting more angry by the second, "That have my initials on it? One."

"Oh, those are your initials." Snotlout realized.

Astrid scofffed, "Bad enough you took it without asking, but you used it to clean in between your dragon's dirty claws. Do you know what kind of disgusting crud is in there?"

The crips night air was cold, running a shiver down my spine.

"Do I? That is some serious nasty goof." Snotlout chuckled.

I heard Astrid scream in anger, followed by crashing.

"Sounds like she's got him in the Hofferson Head Press." Tuff noted.

"I agree. She's put me in that Head Press too many times to count." I shook my head.

"How long 'til he blacks out?" Ruff grinned.

"Thirty seconds." Tuffnut estimated.

"Stop struggling!" I heard Astrid shout.

"Okay, not the ear hair! Anything but the ear hair!" Snotlout gasped.

"Do you think they'll be done soon? I wanted to say bye to Astrid before I go back to Berserker Island." Heather said, perched on Windshear.

Astrid screamed again, "Did you really just say that to me?" Suddenly, the door burst open and Astrid stormed out.

"I'll, uh, just go talk to Astrid myself." Heather gave an awkward chuckle.

"What did you say to her?" I crossed my arms.

Snotlout stood up, whispering in my air. I gasped, "You have to be joking." I then whispered to Ruff.

"Yeah, right. You did not say that." Ruff scoffed. Snotlout gave a timid nod. Ruffnut whispered to Hiccup.

"Okay, this could be a problem." Hiccup said, immediately worried.

"What is she doing?" Snotlout winced, watching weapons fly out of Astrid's door.

"Searching for something. Most likely a bludgeon." I replied, biting my lip.

"All right. Here's what you're gonna do." Hiccup turned to Snotlout. "You're gonna get on Hookfang and fly out of here immediately."

Snotlout scoffed, "Yeah, right. I'm not afraid of her."

"You should be." I frowned, messing with the scales on my necklace.

"You should go. Now." Hiccup sighed.

"It's literally the only chance you have." I added.

Snotlout winced, climbing onto his saddle and taking off.

Snotlout's POV:

"I cannot believe this is happening. Can you? I mean, seriously. She needs to stop being so sensitive." I scoffed, flying through the air.

Lighting flashed, causing me to jump slightly.

"Great." I muttered as it started to rain.

I dodged lighting strikes. "That's right! Punish me, Thor! Bring me everything you got! I can take it! The Snot can take it!"
