Talulahh's POV:

"Look out!" Hiccup called out.

We were trying to train the Triple Stryke. Key word: trying.

It made a clicking noise before going to attack, though I didn't pay much attention to the sound. Toothless stood in front of us, blast ready.

"Toothless, no! We're trying to train it." Hiccup reminded the Night Fury.

"How are we supposed to train it if we can't close to it?" Astrid pointed out, perched on her saddle.

"Can you blame him, though?" Dahlia said sweetly, a soft pout on her face.

"She's right. The last humans it dealt with forced it to fight other dragons to the death." Hiccup nodded in agreement.

"Hiccup, maybe we should make room for the possibility, that the Triple Stryke is just untrainable."  Astrid said.

I frowned. "We're making progress." Hiccup shot back. "If we could just find a way to get this guy on board, have him fight with us instead of against us."

Sleuther roared. "Stormfly, spineshot!" Astrid shouted. The Nadder shot spines at the Triple Stryke's feet, stopping him from coming forward.

"We've dealt with way worse." I told her.

"Snotlout doesn't count." Astrid rollled her eyes.

"Good one, Astrid. I'll have to remember that." Fishlegs said as he flew up to us.

"Fishlegs!" I waved with a smile.

"What brings you to the Valley of Pain?" Astrid asked sarcastically.

"Snotlout and the twins just got back from patrol, and there are multiple storm fronts heading right for us." Fishlegs informed "We need to lock down the Edge before they start to hit."

"Snotlout, what are you doing?" I flew up to him.

"Covering up my 'S'! What does it look like I'm doing?" He shot back.

"You're supposed to be closing the dome and battening down the hatches." Astrid reminded him.

"Hey, I'm not leaving the 'S' hangin' out in the wind." Snotlout continued covering the 'S'.

"I will throw that ugly piece of scrap metal into the ocean if you don't go close the dome right now!" I said, getting annoyed.

"Fine!" He shouted, flying off.

"What can I do?" I flew up to Astrid.

"Get to the clubhouse and don't move." She told me.

"Who put you in charge, exactly?" Ruff put her hands on her hips.

"We all voted Astrid as 'Storm Warden'." Fishlegs reminded the girl.

"I would like to rescind my vote. If that's the right word." Tuffnut crossed his arms.

"Oh, sorry, too late. Now follow Talulahh." Astrid instructed.

"Did you drop off food and water at the stables?" Astrid asked as we all stood in the clubhouse.

"Yep. Troughs are all full." Hiccup nodded.

Fishlegs closed the door. "Well, the dragons are all cozy in their pens.

"Did you lock the main doors?" Astrid put her hands on her hips.

Fishlegs chuckled. "Astrid, Astrid, of course. Who would forget something like that?  I mean, I guess it is possible. But I would never. Then again, there's a first time for everything."
