Chapter 22

Yeonjun's eyes locked onto Jimin's a mix of determination and nervousness in his gaze. "Please I need to speak to Beomgyu. It's important."

Jimin hesitated, unsure of what to do, but something in Yeonjun's eyes told him that he was serious. "Wait here." He said to call out for Beomgyu. Yeonjun could see Beomgyu walking downstairs. "What's going on?" Beomgyu asked he then looked outside seeing Yeonjun on the doorstep. Beomgyu's eyebrows narrowed in confusion. "What do you want? I thought you didn't want to talk, and now you're at my doorstep 10 at night. "I know, I know." Yeonjun sighed. 

"Could you give us a second hyung?" Beomgyu asked Jimin. The older nodded going upstairs along with Yoongi. 

"But I couldn't go any longer trying to ignore this. I can't let you go especially over a small situation like this. I know this may sound crazy but ever since we met I felt something for you and when you left I've been searching for like crazy and when we finally met again I just thought to myself 'I can't let him slip away.' I know that there's something between and I don't want to lose it because of jealousy." Yeonjun spilled out.

Beomgyu's expression softened and he left out a sigh. "Can you come in please? It's cold out there and I don't want you getting sick." Beomgyu said holding the door open. Yeonjun walked in with his head down. "I'm not mad at you Jun. I'm furious, but I can admit that I understand where you're coming from, but I never really realized the problem with Taehyun. I genuinely thought it was just a mutual friendship. And I'm sorry for questioning our relationship because I do want to be with you. I just think in that moment I wasn't fully ready, it just didn't process quick enough that I do want to be with you and that I feel the same way."

"I just wish that I didn't push you away and that I let us talk sooner. You should know that I'm sorry and the way I handled things was immature. I want to be with you and it would've hurt me if I tried going another day without speaking to you because I love you." Yeonjun confessed. Beomgyu's heart skipped a beat and his eyes welled up with tears. "Yeonjun I'm sorry too." Beomgyu said as a tear fell down his cheek. "I was confused about my feelings and invalidated yours. Just the thought of losing you was unbearable." Beomgyu said softly, Yeonjun took a step closer wiping Beomgyu's tears with his thumb.

As they stood there the air filled with tension between them. Beomgyu's face leaned in, his lips inching closer to Yeonjun's. Yeonjun's heart raced with anticipation. "I've been waiting for this moment for so long." Yeonjun said with a soft chuckle. A smile spread across Beomgyu's face. "Me too."

Yeonjun then leaned in, his lips brushing against Beomgyu's in a soft gentle kiss. Beomgyu's eyes fluttered closed as he deepened the kiss, lips parting slightly inviting Yeonjun in. Yeonjun's tongue swept in tangling with Beomgyu's. Beomgyu's hand slip into Yeonjun's hair pulling him in closer.

Time stood still as their lips moved in sync. As they broke apart for air Beomgyu's eyes locked with Yeonjun's. "I love you too." He whispered. Yeonjun smiled from ear to ear before landing a peck on Beomgyu's lips.

"Are you tired?" Beomgyu asked. Yeonjun nodded slowly. "Stay here for tonight." Beomgyu said with a smile. Yeonjun couldn't resist as he followed Beomgyu upstairs to his bed.

As the two laid cuddled up under the blanket, Yeonjun's arms wrapped tightly around Beomgyu's waist. Beomgyu's head rested on Yeonjun's chest. "Goodnight Gyu." Yeonjun whispered, lips brushing against Beomgyu's forehead. "Night Jun." Beomgyu replied.

As the younger drifted off to sleep Yeonjun's lips trailed soft kisses across Beomgyu's forehead, his nose, and his lips. Beomgyu's lips formed a gentle smile. Yeonjun held Beomgyu close as he drifted off to sleep.
