Chapter 3 The way back home

After detention I made my way back home. But as I said luck is on my side today please do note the sarcasm. It actually began to rain which for me made no sense at all because it was sunny this morning.

I think the only option now is to run home. This time I wish Tricia didn't leave me here and that's a first for me to think. I was pulled off my thoughts when I heard a voice

"Are you just gonna stand there or what?" I saw Ryder the Great inside his Oh! So wonderful car.

"It's not like I have an umbrella or a ride home ok?" I answered

He rolled his eyes and said "hop in" while motioning for me to get inside.

I blinked and said "I'm sorry what? I thought I heard you say something you're not capable of."

He rolled his eyes again and said
"Hey,I thought of giving you a ride since you look like a lost puppy but I guess you don't want a ride from so bye!"

and with that he left and ran full speed splashing dirty water all over me.
I swear that guy is satan's spawn.

When I reached home I saw my sister standing on the doorway with her hands on her hips. Uh-oh she's mad at me.

"Where have you been?"
she said raising an eyebrow and crossing her arms.

"Detention" I simply said

"What!?"

"How?"

"Why?"

"Ryder Green" I said again
with no care

"The Ryder Green? As in the Badboy, total hottie and the most popular guy in school?"

"Yes if that's how you describe that jerk." I said but mumbled the last part

"Why would he bother with a nobody like you? It's not like you're pretty or something"

ouch that kinda hurts but she's right anyways

"He didn't I just bumped into him on my way towards my locker this morning which made me late to class" I said while grabbing an apple for dinner,
yes an apple for dinner

because my sister ate all the food or maybe she had her friends come over again.

"Yeah that makes more sense" she said nodding

I wanted to say "why can't you just leave me alone?!" But I just kept quite.

After that I went upstairs and began making my assignments when my phone buzzed it said.

'See you tomorrow'

Who could this possibly be? I don't think I know this person because its an unknown number.
But curiosity filled me so I replied

'Um..Do I know you?'

'Yup, we go to the same school' seriously? Is someone playing a prank on me?

'Um excuse me are you there?' The person asked

'Yes, can I ask something?' I answered

'Sure'

'Um..Who are you?'

'That's for me to know and for you to find out sweetheart' what? seriously?

I was about to reply when my phone buzzed once again 'goodnight princess'

I decided to finish my work thinking that person is possibly asleep.

After doing my work I decided to take a shower and then go to bed. But the curiosity in me is starting to fill my system.
