Chapter 15 I planned a trip

As soon as we got inside Ryder's car he immediately asked "What happened back there?"

"Nothing" I muttered looking at the view outside the window.

"You're lying to me" Ryder said seriously while glancing at me.

"Look at the road idiot" I said scolding him

He pulled over and said "stop changing the subject"

"Why did you stop the car?" I asked him

"What happened back there" Ryder said seriously while looking at me straight in the eyes.

"Nothing" I denied

"Stop lying to me!" Ryder said

"Why do you even care?!" I yelled out in fustraition

"I'm just worried okay?" Ryder said trying to be calm

"Well don't be"I said to him avoiding his gaze

"Don't you trust me?" Ryder asked and I was about to make a remark but then I saw hurt in his eyes. Its actually really rare for me to see this expression in Ryder's eyes.

"It's not that I don't trust you okay?" I said turning to him "it's just that this problem is too personal."

Ryder opened his mouth but nothing came out then once again he tried and said "okay fine" and I breathe out a sigh of relief "But if you need anything just tell me okay?"

I gave him a small smile and said "I'm sorry Ryder" 'My family is just not in the best situation' I added in my mind

Ryder sighed and said "its okay I understand" and then he started the engine

I muttered a small "thank you" I think some things are just too personal for me to tell, I added silently in my mind.

"Ring!!! Ring!!! Ring!!!"

The annoying sound of my alarm clock woke me up from my dreamland.

"Ring!!!"

Seriously?!

"Ring!!!"

I tried to reach for the off button but failed miserably. Instead I landed on the floor with an 'omph' sound.

"Ow" I muttered as soon as I landed on the cold hard floor with my face first.

"Ring!!!"

"Why wouldn't this thing stop bugging me" I muttered while standing up reaching for the stupid alarm clock and turning it off.

"Ri-"

As soon as the annoying ringing sound stop I mentally did a happy dance. But then was immediately ruined by a knock on the door.

"What" I asked grumpily as I opened to see a smirking Ryder

"Well someone isn't having a good hair day" Ryder said ruffling my hair and making it look like a bird's nest.

"Hey! You don't do that to me" I said slapping his hand a way trying to fix my hair if that's even possible.

"Princess that's no use" Ryder said smirking and shaking his head.

I rolled my eyes and said "What do you want Ryder?"

"Stacey is making breakfast downstairs and was wondering if you wanna eat before school"

"Okay" I said to him

"Yeah you also might wanna consider getting rid of that morning breathe and bed hair of yours" he said eyeing me up and down

I rolled my eyes at him and said "Get lost Ryder" and slammed the door shut on his face before he could even reply.

After doing my early morning routine I headed downstairs

"Morning" I said cheerily to Stacey who was cooking

"Oh my god!" Stacey said jumping a little "don't do that!" She said glaring at me and I just gave her a smile.

Stacey rolled her eyes at me and said "just eat up" while giving a plate full of pancakes.

"Thanks!" I said cheerfully while sitting on the counter of their kitchen.

"Girls I have an announcement!" Suddenly Ryder yelled at my back making me jump almost falling of the stool.

"Wow easy there" Ryder said grabbing my waist to help me from falling down

"You scared me!" I said slapping his chest

"That's the same exact feeling you gave me earlier" Stacey said pointing accusingly at me and I just rolled my eyes

Ryder then cleared his throat and said "So I was saying I have an announcement to make" and Stacey and I nodded our heads to him motioning him to go on

"We're going on a trip!" Ryder said cheerfully

"Why?" Stacey and I said together boredly

"Seriously guys? That's the reaction I can get?" Then again we nodded our heads "Fine I thought you'll be excited because we're going to Palawan back in the Philippines" Ryder mumbled loud enough for me and Stacey to hear making our heads turn

"What?!" Stacey and I both shouted together

"It's true, well then I guess it's time for me to cancel our flight then" Ryder said trying to reach for his phone

"No!" Me and Stacey protested making Ryder look at us

"Ryder pleasssseee I really wanna go there, I heard they have some amazing beaches back there" Stacey said to Ryder grabbing his arms while using the puppy eyed look

Ryder smirked and said "OK then"

"Wait when do we leave?" I asked Ryder and he replied

"Christmas break"

"Wait wouldn't that be cold during December?" Stacey asked Ryder looking at him questionably

Ryder snorted and I bit my lip to keep myself from laughing "Stace Philippines is a tropical country there is no winter over there" I said to her softly and then Ryder bursted out laughing

"Stop it!" Stacey yelled at Ryder stomping her foot like a kid.

I bit my lip to stop laughter coming out of my mouth.But then when I saw the time I'm sure my eyes popped out of their sockets

"Guys we gotta go, we're late!" I yelled loudly and Stacey and Ryder immediately stopped fighting and packed their things up as fast as they can.

"This is all your fault!" Ryder and Stacey both shouted at each other

"Well I'm not the one who was so dumb" Ryder muttered

"What did you say?" Stacey said glaring at Ryder

Ryder opened his mouth to reply but I cut him off "Stop it! You guys are wasting so much time now let's go cause we're late!" I said to them while gathering my things.

And with that we drove to school. Well Stacey did and Ryder and I sat on the backseat together. Since his car is still in the shop.
