Chapter 5 The new Friend

We actually skipped two periods of class just to tour Max around the school.

It was my first time skipping class but it was worth it though.

Both Stacey and I had a lot of fun with our new friend.

On our way back the bell rang signaling it's already lunch time. So we decided to head over to the cafeteria.

Many girls were drooling over Max and glaring at me and Stacey. Because he was putting his arms over our shoulders.

Then I heard someone call me

"Ali!"

When I turned around I saw Ryan waving his hand at me. Stacey raised an eyebrow and I just said

"Detention" and she nodded her head in understanding

We walked to the table towards Ryan or should I say the popular's table. I'm sure girls are glaring daggers at me.

When we reached the table Ryan asked

"Who's this?"

"Ryan meet Max" motioning from Max to Ryan "and Max this is Ryan" doing the same thing but in opposites

They both shook hands

"So you're new here huh?" Ryan asked

"Yep I just move here from LA" Max answered

"Cool you guys can sit with us" Ryan said motioning for us to seat

"There's no room for the nerd here Ryan" a fake tanned cheerleader said checking her fake nails

Ryan rolled his eyes and said

"She's my friend Claire don't talk to her that way" Ryan said seriously and grabbed a seat for me

"Ryan I could just seat somewhere else" I said kinda embarrassed being with the 'populars'

"Don't mind them" Ryan said smiling " we're friends remember?"

"Thanks" I nodded and smiled

When I started eating my pizza the one of the fake tanned blonde bimbo said

"Do you know how much carbs is in that?" she said while looking at my pizza like it contains a virus or something

Then I answered "No"

Then she snickered and said
"For a nerd you sure are dumb" like she was smart

I just resisted my urge to roll my eyes

When the doors opened and a loud bang sounded in the whole cafeteria.

Ryder Green I should've known. He came in with blonde bimbo beside him.

What's with blonde bimbos and bad boys nowadays?

He turned his head around the cafeteria and his eyes landed on mine.

"He's walking towards you while keeping eye contact" Stacey said beside me while staring at her brother like he was some unknown species.

"He's not" I said denying her

"He is" and this time Ryan spoke

I was going to say something but a voice said

"That's my seat" and I looked up to see Ryder glaring down at me with his blonde

And I thought he smiled at me.

"Move" he said

"I'm already seating here go find another seat" I said and gasps filled the cafeteria

Ryder looked just as shock as the others even I was shocked of what just came out of my mouth.

"Back off Ryder you heard her" Stacey said

I know Ryder loves his sister but I think he loves his pride more because he said

"My father owns the school and if you want your scholarship to continue you better stay out of my way" he said glaring at me and if looks could kill I would be buried six feet on the ground.

"Ryder she's m-" Stacey tried to interrupt but I said

"It's fine Stace I value my education very much" and with that I ran out of the cafeteria.
