Eren

"He took your sketchbook!?" Mikasa slammed her fist on the table in our dining room, "That pint sized piece of-"

"Mika!" Armin scolded from the kitchen, "This table was my grandfather's and it's over a hundred years old, give it some respect."

She disregarded him without a thought and continued interrogating me. It had been two weeks since me and Levi had kissed, and lately it started to feel more like a dream. He didn't give me detentions anymore and he rarely called on me in class. Today when he took my sketchbook was the closest thing to a conversation we'd had in weeks and I couldn't deny the fact that it hurt.

"Sandwiches are ready!" Armin announced cheerfully, setting down a plate piled with grilled cheese sandwiches. His grilled cheeses were legendary. Their aroma clawed at my nose begging me to eat them all, every last one. Armin and Mikasa can get their own damn sandwiches. I reached for one and all but shoved the entire thing in my mouth. The sound of Mikasa's rambling echoed in the background, dissolving into white noise. I eagerly dove in for seconds to distract myself from her negative ranting.

"Good God Eren," Armin gaped, his voice rose with surprise, "Slow down, savor them. You look like a pig."

"-And the fact that he thinks he can keep you every day for 'detention' is just baffling. Is there no law against that? Oh and another thing-" Mikasa's voice leaked into my bubble of bliss.

"Mika God shut up," I groaned, "You sound like a grandma. And Armin I'll eat however the hell I want to."

She rocketed to her feet before I could finish my sentence, her arms braced on the table to hold herself back. She did that a lot when she was pissed off. "I made a fucking promise to our mom kid," she snarled, "I'm gonna keep you safe from assholes who wanna hurt you or involve you in things you shouldn't be a part of Eren!"

"He's a teacher, calm the hell down. For the record he hasn't given me detention in weeks so I don't see the problem." I growled.

"You don't see a problem?" She yelled, Armin slunk down in his chair, "He took your goddamn property, he holds himself over you like some sort of Corporal, yet you just let him drag you through the dirt! I don't know what you consider a problem but I'd call that a problem!"

"Maybe you're the problem! I don't see why you gotta stuff your nose into my business all the damn time, why do you care so much about me and some teacher?!"

"You don't think I can tell something's going on between you two?! I know you've got some weird ass crush on him and I'm sure an old man like him would love a chance in your underage pants!"

We'd escalated into a full on screaming match. I can't remember ever fighting like this with her. "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard! L- Mr. Ackerman is my teacher, you're reading way too into this."

"Oh no I'm-"

"Stop please!" Armin cried, "Both of you are acting like children!"

"She started it," I grumbled, sticking out my lip in a defiant pout. I slouched in my seat and crossed my arms across my chest.

"For the love of god-" Mikasa started but was cut off.

"Ergh!" Armin gripped his blonde hair into fists, "Stop, this fight is stupid."

"The only thing stupid is how Mika won't stop making false accusations about Levi-" My eyes widened. Shit. "I meant Mr. Ackerman."

"Levi?" Mikasa spat his name like it was poison, "So you're on a first name basis with him now? Still nothing going on?"
