gojo satoru wanted to die.
at least, that was what he felt in the moment when those ridiculous words come out of itadori yuji's mouth. it didn't make sense to him. just as he thought that the faint connection was nothing but her being injured—it was far more worse than that.
he never imagined that it was even possible for sukuna to switch vessels. he never imagined that the next victim would be his little sister.
"why?" was all that came out of the strongest sorcerer's mouth as he stumbled back. his first reaction was shock, then came the unexpected—the frustration, the blame.
those who were holding him, nanami, yuta, and shoko, were easily shrugged off by him. the ground became damp, but not because of the rain, but because of satoru's tears spilling at an alarming rate. it was too much.
gojo satoru couldn't—he just couldn't live and exist in a world without his sister. she was his only family. someone who gets him. someone that was his other half.
by the mere thought of sayuri slipping away, letting sukuna's soul consume her, it was too much for satoru. it made him utterly sick to the guts. he felt like his heart was mushed up and was ready to be puked out by him.
he didn't expect that his return would be something more eventful—something that would make him feel alive again, but instead it was the exact opposite.
he clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles turned white, the ache in his heart consumed by a blazing fury. he was sad, yes. but the blue feeling was too drowning that he needed to feel another emotion other than sadness.
so gojo satoru resulted to anger.
"it's all your fault." his voice was low, dangerous, and laced with venom, a sharp contrast to the unbearable silence in the open area.
the students from kyoto, even utahime was shocked. they never saw this side of satoru.
but kirara and hakari however, they knew that satoru will go through lengths of emotions if his sister's life was on the line. they once witnessed something like this before.
for yuji however, it felt like a shot in the chest.
it all happened in front of him. as the agreed word left sukuna's mouth, itadori yuji was frozen is spot. he was left with no choice but to watch as the most horrifying scene unfolds before him.
