—the lightheadedness had hit kugisaki nobara the second that she sees the ever so familiar lighting of the infirmary. by the strong medicinal scent circulating the room, she wanted to go out and free from the toxicity that it brought her lungs, but then it hit her—why is my vision strange? she asks herself.
nobara tries her best to recall all the happenings that happened before she lost consciousness. all she could remember was seeing sayuri brutally pull of haruta's limbs, and then—mahito.
with cautious and shaky hands, her frail fingers reach for the left part of her face. she could feel bandages and a hollow part where her left eye was supposed to be. only then she realizes the aftermath of facing mahito. before she could even mourn for her what was once a face that she took care of, the door slides open.
"ieiri-san! she's awake!"
too noisy. was what nobara wanted to say, but she saved her sassiness for later. she'd rather have them worry—not sayuri though. nobara knew that the white-haired girl would worry too much if she pranks her. fushiguro and itadori though, nobara was willing to prank.
nobara knew that they at least needed a decent laugh after the trauma that shibuya incident has brought them.
she, out of all people shouldn't even be laughing right now. nobara wanted to cry, to mourn over her now destroyed face, but she masked it instead.
gojo satoru and gojo sayuri weren't the only ones who were good at concealing their truest emotions.
a couple of people surrounded nobara. with her one eye, she had difficulty on focusing her eyesight upon them. as shoko ieiri healed nobara with her reverse cursed technique, she tried her best to look at everyone.
fushiguro's still with his nonchalant face, but it's nice to see that he's worried about me.
ijichi-san looks scared as always.
