A/N: requested sequel to [62] MATCHED

The kiss marked a turning point for Jungkook and Jimin. Jungkook grew more attentive, texting Jimin throughout the day to check on him or surprising him with thoughtful gifts - like a sketchpad Jimin had been eyeing, or dinner from his favorite restaurant.

Jimin, in turn, started to leave little notes for Jungkook around the house: reminders to eat, encouragement for his work, and tiny doodles along with his packed lunch that made Jungkook smile

One evening, Jungkook returned from work late to find Jimin asleep on the couch, a book resting on his chest. His soft breaths filled the silence of the room, and Jungkook couldn't resist brushing his fingers lightly across Jimin's cheek.

"You're beautiful" he whispered, even though no one could hear him.

Jimin stirred slightly, leaning into the touch even in his sleep. Jungkook's heart swelled with a mixture of affection and protectiveness.

Months passed, and their relationship grew stronger. One morning, Jimin woke up feeling unusually nauseous. At first, he chalked it up to stress, but the symptoms persisted. Hesitantly, he decided to take a pregnancy test.

When the result turned positive, Jimin's hands trembled. He didn't know how Jungkook would react.

That evening, Jimin prepared Jungkook's favorite meal, setting the table carefully. When Jungkook arrived home, he immediately sensed something was different.

"What's the occasion?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jimin smiled nervously, pushing a small gift box toward him. "Open it."

Inside the box was a tiny pair of baby shoes and a note that read: Coming soon

Jungkook stared at the box, his mind racing. When he finally looked up, Jimin was biting his lip anxiously.

"You're pregnant?" Jungkook asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jimin nodded, tears pooling in his eyes. "Are you... okay with this?"

For a moment, Jungkook was silent. Then, a grin broke across his face, and he pulled Jimin into a tight hug, lifting him off the ground. "Okay with it? Jimin, I'm ecstatic! We're having a baby!"

Relief washed over Jimin, and he laughed, tears streaming down his face. "I was so scared you wouldn't want this."

Jungkook cupped Jimin's face, looking into his eyes. "I want everything with you, Jimin. A family, a future - everything."

As Jimin's pregnancy progressed, challenges arose. Jimin's art career began gaining traction, but critics accused him of riding on Jungkook's name. The pressure weighed heavily on Jimin, especially as his body changed and exhaustion set in.

One particularly harsh review brought Jimin to tears. "Maybe they're right" he said one evening, curling up on the couch. "Maybe I'm just a nobody pretending to be someone."

Jungkook knelt in front of him, taking his hands. "Don't you ever say that" he said firmly. "Your talent speaks for itself. You're incredible, Jimin - don't let anyone tell you otherwise."

His words bolstered Jimin, but the real test came when complications arose in Jimin's pregnancy. At seven months, Jimin was placed on bed rest due to early contractions. Jungkook rearranged his entire schedule to care for him, cooking, cleaning, and keeping Jimin entertained.

"Jungkook, you don't have to do everything" Jimin said one evening, watching as Jungkook brought him a tray of food.

"I want to" Jungkook replied. "You're carrying our child. Let me take care of you."

When the day finally came, it was chaotic but beautiful. Jimin went into labor in the middle of the night, and Jungkook panicked, grabbing everything but the hospital bag.

Hours later, they welcomed a baby boy into the world. Jungkook held their son with tears streaming down his face. "He's perfect" he whispered.

Jimin, exhausted but glowing, smiled. "We did this, Jungkook. Together."

Jungkook leaned down, kissing Jimin softly. "I love you. Thank you for giving me everything I never knew I needed."
