A/N: sequel to [137] irritating 2

From the moment the date was set, Jungkook and Jimin realized they had lost all control over their own wedding.

They had wanted something simple. Intimate. Maybe on a beach. Close friends and family. Soft music. Handwritten vows.

But "simple" was not a word in the Jeon family dictionary.

Taehyung presented the spreadsheet like it was sacred scripture

"I've divided responsibilities between the three of us. Mom's in charge of flowers and emotional breakdowns. Dad is handling 'the vibe' and transportation. I'm your Best Man-slash-Master of Ceremonies-slash-Creative Director-slash-Vibe Consultant."

Jungkook blinked. "What's left for us to do?"

Taehyung waved a hand. "Just show up and look in love."

"We are in love."

"Exactly. Nailed it already. You're welcome."

**

The night before the wedding, Jimin and Jungkook were banned from seeing each other

"It's romantic!" their mom insisted

Jungkook spent the night in his old bedroom, Taehyung snoring on the floor beside him in a face mask and glittery slippers.

"Do you think Jimin will cry tomorrow?" Taehyung asked dreamily.

"I think I might cry tomorrow."

"Oh my god" Taehyung whispered. "Can I record it?"

"No."

**

The ceremony was outdoors, at a sun-drenched field framed by trees and soft hanging lights.

Jungkook stood at the altar, fidgeting slightly, heart pounding.

Then the music started. And Jimin walked in, glowing like sunlight, soft and ethereal in his white suit and a flower crown thanks to Taehyung's overzealous pinning.

"You're crying" Taehyung whispered from beside Jungkook.

"Shut up" Jungkook muttered, eyes glued to Jimin.

When Jimin reached him, he leaned in and whispered, "I thought we agreed no crying."

Jungkook laughed wetly. "Then stop being so beautiful."

**

The chaos truly began.

Taehyung took the mic. "Hey you, ladies, gentlemen 🎶 - welcome to the JEON-PARK WEDDING!"

"We're not combining our names" Jungkook called out.

"Too late!" Taehyung sang.

There was dancing. There were speeches. Their dad somehow got everyone to join in for a fully choreographed rendition of "Dynamite."

Later Jungkook found Jimin outside, away from the music, just them and the stars.

"You know" Jimin murmured, slipping his arms around Jungkook's waist, "this wasn't the quiet, intimate wedding we planned."

"No" Jungkook chuckled, resting his forehead against Jimin's. "It was loud. And messy. And chaotic."

"And kind of perfect?"

"Kind of perfect."

Taehyung appeared out of nowhere, holding two glasses of champagne and wearing sunglasses at night. "Okay lovebirds, break's over. It's time for the Cha-Cha Slide!"
