"You heard me. " Yusuf said with a serious expression.
I slouched back on the chair and frankly, I was too deep in shock to say anything.
"I'm just kidding, Saba." He teased and burst out laughing. I hit him on his arm with the tiny album.
"Say no to violence! Now it's my turn." He sat up on his chair and looked directly into my hazel eyes.
I gulped as his gaze intensified and i couldn't even move. I remembered when I was abusing Sameer in his room that morning. Why was he infesting my mind like the pest he was?"Do you....like anyone?"
No $hit sherlock. I've been crushing on you since I was 13! For someone with such a high IQ you really don't think about romance do you? Smarty pants!
"I don't know yet. I used to but I'm not sure if they like me back." I gave a half truth. I looked away while I fixed my hijab.
"Saba, I asked if you like someone, not if someone likes you." He poked my forehead.
"Meh. I'm not sure anymore. Do you like anyone?"
He shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
"Do you want anything to drink?"
He completely ignored my answer."Does this question count or is it a casual question?" I narrowed my eyes at him. "You still didn't answer my question so you can't ask anymore." I pouted.
"I'll tell you when I get back."
"You gonna answer me?"
"I'll tell you when I get back. " He teased me and left.
After bringing two glasses of orange juice , he sat and turned his chair towards mine.
"Yes I like someone. " He said casually."Who! Who?" I bounced. Who is this damn woman,!
"Hey! It's my turn!" He sounded like a child. I held my face and made an "aww" gesture.
"Who am I to you? Like am I your friend, acquaintance, bro?"
I was shocked at his question and on instinct I choked on the sip of orange juice and spat out my entire mouthful. Oh no!
His shirt was dripping with juice and it stuck on to his skin. Without thinking, he tugged it off revealing his four pack. Damn! I couldn't help but look at his shirtless body.
His skin was flawless. Snap out of it! Saba!"Oh my gosh sorry I just choked."
"It's okay. Let's continue. " He sat down as if it's completely normal for him to be freaking shirtless.
"Yeah so...my question? "
"Huh? Oh sorry what was it again?" I'm such an idiot.
"What am I to you?"
"You're my close friend obviously. "
"Oh okay cool. Same here."
"I need to ask three questions in a row because you totally cheated with---" I forgot what I was going to say because his naked torso was just so.....distracting.
"Anyway. One. Do you like someone?"
"Yes."
"Two. Is it Sana?"
"That would be like dating my sister. No." He chuckled.
"Hmm okay last question.....who do you like?" I smirked and he looked at me with an unreadable expression.
