The next morning when I wake up, I lay in bed twisting the ring on my finger thinking about the night before and smile.
It doesn't feel real.
I quickly put it back in the box when mum shouts up to me "There's an Impractical Jokers interview on the tv."
I run down the stairs and sit next to her on the sofa. It feels weird seeing Sal on tv now.
About halfway through the interview, the interviewer holds up a magazine with a picture of me and Sal hugging at the beach on the cover and asks Sal if he's seeing anyone at the moment.
Someone must have taken a picture of us last night.
I stare at the tv to see what he says.
"You've got me. I met her at a meet and greet in Las Vegas."
Immediately I feel mums eyes on me.
I turn to look at her and smile awkwardly saying "That's a coincidence isn't it."
"Is this true?" she says slowly.
"I can't lie to you. Yeah it's true....and we're getting married in 2 months."
She pauses for a moment taking it all in then says "Well, we better start looking at wedding dresses."
