~ One month later ~
"I can't believe it!" Sophie says as she hugs me.
I invited her, my mum and dad over for the baby shower.
"Same!" I squeal as I rub my belly.
"How many months are you?"
"Four."
"Four?! You're tiny!"
"That's what everyone's saying." I laugh.
Sal comes over and hugs Sophie.
"Hey! I haven't seen you in ages."
"I know! It's been too long."
"So I hear you got into university."
"Yeah, 2 years from now I could be treating cats and dogs."
"Maybe not cats."
We laugh.

At the end of the shower, Sal's parents come over to congratulate me and Sal.
"You look absolutely gorgeous. You're glowing!" his mum kisses me on the cheek.
"Aww, thank you."
"My son's good. It runs in the family." his dad winks and laughs.
I let out a little laugh and feel myself blush.
