"Shit! Aislinn? Aislinn!? Aislinn what's happening, what's he mean? What's wrong? Shit breathe or something! Aislinn? Shit!"

She heard the voice distantly as if it was coming from far off. And part of her knew she should be trying to pay attention, should be focusing on it. Knew that there was something important she was supposed to be doing. That something vital, crucial was happening but she simply couldn't remember what. The only thing she could see, hear or think was that name.

Robert Doyle.

It didn't make sense. And yet it fit perfectly.

Tragically, horribly, flawlessly.

"AISLINN!" The sheer volume combined with the pitch was enough to at last shock her back to her surroundings. For a moment she stared blankly into the terrified face of the girl. And then in a rush the memories came flooding back.

And with them came the pain. Betrayal. Anger.

"How do you know his name?" She turned from Ciera back to Viktor, noting the flash of fear that crossed his features as she approached him. When he didn't answer she repeated her words this time making them a command. One that left no room except for him to comply.

"I knew him before he became the Rogue King."

With her wolf still so weak she couldn't reach into his mind but she could still sense there was more. That he was trying to hide something.

"How? No one knows his name. And trust me I have tried getting it. Not even his top lieutenants know his actual name. So how can I trust that you do?"

He let out a humorless chuckle at her before speaking coldly and confidentially. "It's his name."

"But how did you, of all people, come to know it? How do you know who he is?"

"I won't answer you." He snarled his eyes flashing.

"You will tell me. Who is he?!" Her voice roared, her emotions breaking loose.

"He's my father."

"Your father? You're telling me you are Robert Doyle's son?"

"Yes."

"Why have I never heard of you before?"

"My mother wasn't his mate. She was Russian and they had an affair. I took her name and she raised me until she was killed in a rogue attack over twenty years ago."

"When did he find you?"

"A couple years before you were born."

"You know who I am?"

"I have a few ideas."

She smirked at that. "Does anyone else?"

"Not that I'm aware of."

"Excellent."

"My father won't let you live."

"Well then we have that in common. I don't plan on letting him live either. Now tell me where is he?"

She didn't even need to use a command on him anymore. He was wearing down. Giving up, unable to truly care or fight as his wolf had already submitted and retreated. The rest of him was beginning to realize that he wasn't going to be leaving, at least not alive.

"Unfortunately for you doll face, that is something I can't help with."

"You don't know where he is?"

"He doesn't always trust me." He said grinning at her, "Last time I saw him face-to- face was more than a couple years ago. And believe me when I say he was none too pleased with me at the time."
