Above is Francis

Ten years ago-

I could hear the wind rushing past my ears as I plummeted. I followed the black dragon in front of me. Francis and I thrust our wings out, moments before hitting the ground. Letting the wind carry me, I quickly rose back in the air.

Francis was in front of me, winning the race. I blew a small amount of fire at him. It hit him in the rump. He dropped a few feet, giving me enough time to pass him.

Roaring, he quickly caught up and disappeared above me. A moment later I felt his claws on my back. I huffed and blew a puff of smoke in his face.

He let me go and flew passed me. I pushed my wings faster, becoming a blur as I pass him.

By the time he crossed the finish line, a few minutes later, I was laying on the ground, waiting for him. I laughed when he looked at me. He may be bigger, but I'm faster. He should know that by now. Standing up, I walk over to him and lick his cheek.

"I'm sorry." I tell him in our native tongue.

"You cheat little sister."

"You cheated too, big brother."

"Only after you did."

I blew a puff of smoke in his face and turned my back on him. Together we walked back toward our house. Our house is a large cave in the side of the mountain. The only thing in it was piles of bones from our meals.

"Francis you gotta clean up the bones, you caused most of them anyway." I said to him.

"And you caused some too, Sam."

"Just clean them up, stupid."

Francis started to push the bones out with his nose, grumbling something. He's always complaining about something.

My mom, a beautiful white color with the same color eyes, came out. She laughed at Francis and rubbed her head against mine.

When Francis was done, we all ate, with my mom cleaning it up, and went to sleep. We curled together with my dad, who is a shade lighter than Francis, and slept.
