Above is the man Sam meets.
"Ma'am are you alright?" A voice to my left said. Pulling me out of my head. I hadn't realized I'd started to cry until a tear hit my cheek.
"Ya. I'm fine. I'll just get going now." I stood and made my way to the door. Stepping outside I walked back toward the trees. I can't go home now; Francis might be waiting for me there.
"Why are you going in the woods?" A deep voice behind me said. I turned around to see a man standing there. He was tall, with dirty blonde hair. His eyes were the prettiest blue I've ever seen.
"Is it a crime for a woman to walk in the woods?" I answered. The man only shook his head.
"Only when there are dragons in those woods."
"What? Dragons don't exist. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be taking my walk now." I turn my back to him. I took a step, only to be stopped by laughter. Turning my head back to him I narrow my eyes.
"You know better than anyone that dragons are real." He closed the gap between us and whispered in my ear.
"Little red dragon."
I know it's really short. I'm not feeling too good mentally. I lost my pet the other day. I raised him from a baby and he was a old man. I only updated because i need something to distract me.
