Stars (Thor Odinson x Reader)

{So I got this idea when I was watching a meter shower last night and I really liked it. Plus that seen in Thor when he was talking with Jane about the World tree kinda helped too. Sorry if it's shorter then my others I'm super tired but I tried my best! I hope you guys like it!!}

"Where are we going Thor?" You giggled as you walked blindly outside. The god had your eyes covered and was leading you some where in the middle of a field. That's all you could gather from the situation. Thor your boyfriend of 6 months always loved to surprise you with things. You loved surprises just as long as they were the good kind.

You heard Thor softly chuckle,

"Just a few more steps gorgeous." You felt chills down your spine, you loved it when he called you that.

"Alright here we are!" Thor exclaimed and removed his hands from your eyes. You gasped at the sight.

You were in a huge open field and you saw a faint tree line in the distance. The sun was hung low in the sky and the sky was pink and orange. You saw a fire glowing brightly and two lounge chairs, one of them had some hot dogs and s'mores supplies.

"Oh Thor. This is wonderful!" You exclaimed as you spun around to see your boyfriend beaming back at you. You placed a quick kiss on his lips,

"I love it." You said still smiling.

"I'm glad you do. I thought maybe we could roast some meat over the fire and then make little mushy cakes. Then after we have dined we can enjoy the night sky." You laughed at Thor's misunderstanding of Roasting Hot Dogs and S'Mores. You didn't mind you just thought it made him even more adorable. He smiled sheepishly,

"I'm still not up to terms with what your Midguardian's language." He replied.

"It's alright. We are going to Roast Hot dogs and then have some S'mores. But I think it's adorable when you use your formal talk or whatever its called." You said grabbing his hand and sat down on the chairs then Thor handed the things to you and sat down himself.

"Alright I'll show how to make some Hot dogs."

After an enjoyable campfire dinner and Thor having the hardest time understanding S'mores but he also loved the way they tasted but still said Poptarts tasted better.

The Fire had begun to go out and only a small warm glow was coming from it. You glanced up at the night sky and you saw a million stars and even the milky way. You gawked at how beautiful it was,
"Lady (Y/N)? What are you looking at?" Thor said. You had to tear your eyes away from the beautiful sky to look at him. His Electric Blue eyes stared at you contently.

"The Stars! I've never seen anything like this before.. I grew up in the city so I never really got to see the stars that much when I was younger." You said. He smiled a little at you,

"Well then shall we watch the sky?" Thor asked. You quickly nodded your head and you both turned your chairs around, you scooted yours a little closer to Thor's. You looked up at the sky and all the stars looked back at you. You knew very little about astrology so after a few moments of silence except for the sounds of some frogs and cicadas. You spoke,

"Thor.. Will you tell me about the stars?" You asked turning your head to look at him. He was already looking at you beaming like a little boy. He grabbed your hand his huge hand enveloping yours. He pointed up to the sky,

"(Y/n) do you see those four stars there?" He asked. You followed where his finger was pointing and quickly found them.

"Yeah."

"Thats Eagle. He sits on the branches of ash and has knowledge of many things. He has one star for his body, one for his tail and one for his head. Then his left has four stars and his right has five. Then over there is Hellewagen its a wagon that carries the dead on Frauen Hilde street or the milky way as you call it and it takes them to the underworld. Then over here..."

Thor went on for probably two hours explaining all the constellations and the World Tree. You listened contently and Carefully not wanting to miss a single thing he said. You fell even harder for him as you watched him look up at the sky with such affection but he would glance at you and you could see it in his eyes that he had more affection for you then the entire sky.

"Then thats where Midguard is." Thor said finishing. You felt a bit guilty as you had missed half of what he just said.

"(Y/N)? What is it?" Thor asked with his eyebrows furrowed in concern. You chuckled and hopped up and straddle him. You leaned forward and kissed him, his lips were the soft and plump. You two moved as one as you deepened the kiss. Then you pulled away needing air,

"I was just realizing how much I love you." You said. Thor tucked a piece of your (H/L) (H/C) behind your ear. He cupped your face with his hands and then kissed you again. The kiss was passionate and hopelessly romantic. Then he pulled away,

"You are more beautiful then the brightest star in the sky."

"I love you Thor." You said laying down on his chest.

"I love you too (Y/N)."
