Chapter 17 - What a Coincidence

The door is opened wide; BaekHyun's back is towards the door. JongDae knocks on the door before stepping in. His friend is cleaned up the table to prepare for his trip. The young boss smiles,

"I'm sorry to bring this trouble to you. My mom is sick so I want to stay with her." JongDae speaks.

BaekHyun puts the folder on his hand down, "It's alright. This is actually not a long trip. 10 days will go fast. In addition, I'm not leaving alone. Onew hyung will come with me. What I am concern about is the most current project whether MinAh and you will be able to handle it during the time Onew hyung and I are not here."

JongDae nods, "This will be one of the most challenging part to expand the business, but don't worry, my brother promise to let me borrow some of his employees during the tin you are gone. Onew hyung decided to stay in Shanghai so he doesn't have to travel back and forth. We have to find a new person to replace him soon. MinAh could be a good candidate."

"I think so too." BaekHyun supports.

"But I have to discuss with my brother about this before making a decision." JongDae says looking down at his wrist, "It's almost 7. I want to ask you out for dinner, but you have to go home and pack your stuff for the early trip tomorrow. When you come back, dinner is on me."

"Thank you," BaekHyun agrees and continues cleaning the files. Leaving the office, he doesn't go directly to his house. Instead, he goes to the bus station wanting to tell her about his trip. His cell rings before he walks out of the car. KyungSoo is asking him some questions, but in a far distance, he sees her step down from the bus looking around and walk straight. Feeling strange, BaekHyun quickly follows her. KyungSoo is still on the line, but he can't concentrate on the conversation anymore. MiYoung walks up the stair. BaekHyun looks around the area,

"BaekHyun, do you hear me?" KyungSoo asks over the phone.

"KyungSoo, I have urgent thing to do. I'll call you back later." He says and puts the phone back in his pocket. He quickly runs to follow her. The door slams on the fourth floor. He still concerns while looking around the old building. MiYoung places her bag on her bed and sits down on Tiffany's bed. Her friend is covered by a blanket. She touches on the shoulder,

"Ya, I thought your shift won't end until 11. Did you eat anything yet?" She asks pulling her jacket and starts to untie the shirt button. The blanket pushes open. MiYoung startles seeing a strange guy sleeps on the bed. The man is drunk staring at the young girl, he quickly pulls her hand.

"Ya..." MiYoung yells, "HyoYeon," she yells one more time, but no responses and no one is there to help her. "Somebody please helps," she yells louder trying to get rid of the strong man.

Hearing her yell, he quickly rushes inside pulling the man out and hits him hardly. "Mr. Byun," MiYoung calls and pulls him back.

Her old manager is angry. He grabs her hand and pulls her out of the small room without giving her a chance to tie her shirt. MiYoung grabs her shirt by her left hand, and follow him down the stair. She can feel he is mad, extremely mad, and she never sees he is angry like this before. He opens the car door for her. The girl forces to step in without arguing. She still holds tightly onto her shirt even though she has already tied it. He says nothing and doesn't look at her either. They are coming back to his house. He still remains silent and not talk to her. BaekHyun hardly slams the door. The girl stands in the living room. He goes in his room grabbing a blanket and pillow. He walks out and throws it down on the sofa. BaekHyun forgets about everything. He forgot to pack his stuff for an early trip tomorrow.
