Chapter 28 - Really, Really, Really Stupid

MiYoung stares at her brother. She knows clearly how her brother is, and she knows she can't hide this secret forever. MiYoung looks away not wants to show her emotion in front of her brother; she walks out of the front door and enters the big yard. She stands right next to the big tree. MinSeok silently follows her,
"You know if in our time, ultrasound have been developed. I don't think this problem would occur." She speaks touching on the leaf, not looking at her brother

"What are you trying to say?" Said MinSeok

MiYoung turns back stares directlyat him, "I'm not Du Eonomi's daughter."She informs

MinSeok shakes his head. He stares directly at her,

"This can't happen. Both JongDae and you were born at home. Among us, you are the only one who looks exactly like father. I'm not talking about your outlook. Your habits, your favorite and your talent are exactly like him. What do you mean you are not Du eonomi's daughter?" He asks.

"Because I'm exactly like daddy, and no one ever wonder who my mother is." MiYoung tells.

MinSeok shakes his head with confusion understanding.

"Keun Eonomi's bloodtype is AB, you should know that. Right?" Asked MiYoung

"And," MinSeok speaks with suspicious

"I'm actually your sister." She honestly tells

"What?" MinSeok loudly asks.

"If you don't trust me, you can check my DNA. And if you do, you don't have to waste your time and money because I already did." Said MiYoung

"What's about JongDae?" Asked MinSeok

"JongDae oppa is my twin brother
Du Eonomi didn't have a child" said MiYoung

"How can this happen? A mother should know who her child is." He argues

"Because we were born at the same day, the same time, and in one location," said MiYoung, "That day no one was at home beside two women. I think keun eonomi never told you this. One week before her labor started, she was extremely sick. She didn't want to hurt her baby, so she didn't take any medication. Therefore, after the babies was out, she was in an unconscious stage. She didn't know she had twins. She thought she was having a massive baby. No one was at home; the doctors didn't know anything, and Du eonomi could say everything. Du Eonomi pretended that she was pregnant because she was jealous of keun eonomi. She said I'm her daughter after keun eonomi gave birth and everyone believed it. Hence from then i belong to du eonomi. I ended up being her daughter, while JongDae oppa became your brother. I don't know what her reasons is for doing this, but it is easy to guess."

"How do you know this?" Asked MinSeok

"when she was drunk, she carelessly told me the story." Said MiYoung

"When was that?" Asked MinSeok

"In my sixteenth birthday," replied MiYoung

MinSeok recalls the moment, one day during her birthday, his sister ran over hugging him and cried for almost thirty minutes.

MinSeok shakes his head, "But, she really loves you, and everyone could see it. I still don't get it."

"She never does. The more Daddy loves me, the more she hates me. In front of everyone, she treats nicely, but when we are alone, she always threatens me." MiYoung tells.

MinSeok still shakes his head. The sister turns her back to him and pulls her shirt over showing her shoulder to him,

"Do you know how I get this scar?" She asks.
