Chapter 16 - Studying

{Doncaster, Harry's place, 4pm, Louis is on his way to Harry's}

Harry phone beeps and his display reads a message from Louis

From Lou:
On my way and I'm hungry so make some food xx

HARRY:(shows the message his mom) "What are those x's? Is something wrong with him? Should I go help him? Is it a warn signal or what is going on?"

ANNE:(laughs)"Sweetie, those are kisses it's a texting thingy, you should know that, you are the teenie here."

HARRY:"No one ever sends x's to me."

ANNE:"Well Louis does."

HARRY:"What should I text back?"

ANNE:"I don't know just be nice."

HARRY:"I guess I'm also sending him a message with kisses. It's kinda cute."

ANNE:"Indeed it is."

HARRY:"Look what I texted back" (shows her the message)

To Lou:
Okay, I'm gonna make some snacks for us xx

ANNE:"It's perfect, but I'm guessing by saying you are gonna make snacks you actually mean me, right?"

HARRY:(smiles)"Correct, I know who inherited me my intelligence."

ANNE:"Don't flatter me honey."
(Leaves)

(15'min later Louis arrives and rings the doorbell)

ANNE:(hugs Lou) "Baby I missed you."

LOUIS:"I missed you too and ugh it smells so good in here, did you cook?"

ANNE:"You said you are hungry, first I thought I would just make snacks but than I settled for pizza."

LOUIS:"You are the perfection in person."

ANNE:"Come in first, give me your coat and pull off your shoes."

LOUIS:"Alright, where is Harry?"

ANNE:"Still upstairs, but he will come when he smells the pizza." (Laughs and mumbles) "Or you."

LOUIS:"Hmm what was the last?"

ANNE:"Nothing, just sit down and wait."

HARRY:"I smell pizza and Louis is already here am I right?"

ANNE:(to Louis) "Told ya."

HARRY:"What?"

ANNE:"Doesn't matter, would you like something to eat?"

HARRY:"Not really hungry."

ANNE:"So either way you go back upstairs or you join us."

HARRY:"I'm gonna join you."

ANNE:"You have to be nice though."

HARRY:(winks at Louis)"always"

LOUIS:(whispers)"Bastard."

ANNE:"No swearing under my roof!"

LOUIS:"Sure."

ANNE:"So how's the project going? What's the current assignment?"

LOUIS:"Station 3 is all about the brain. We have to do some experiments and then again write an essay."

HARRY:"Biology is so lame."

LOUIS:"I like it." (Chews his last piece of pizza) "I'm finished."

ANNE:"Then go upstairs and try to finish your project."

HARRY:"C'mon Lou."

ANNE:(shouts after them) "Don't kill each other!"

HARRY:"We won't." (Turns to Lou) "little bit faster maybe."

LOUIS:"My legs are to short." (Whines) "Just slow down a bit."

HARRY:(laughs)"too cute."

LOUIS:(giggles)"Shut up you moron."

HARRY:(Playfully hits him) "Don't be so mean Loubear."

LOUIS:(reaching Harry's room, he is out of breath) "I feel so fat right now, I can't even walk stairs properly."

HARRY:"Not everyone is as athletic like me."

LOUIS:"Everyone except of me. You, Liam, Zayn and even Niall are athletic. It's just unfair."

HARRY:"You could be, you just have to do something."

LOUIS:"Nah I'm way to lazy."

HARRY:"Then stop complaining you idiot."

LOUIS:"Let's just start with those experiments."

(They begin with their brain experiments and they actually have fun together. They are laughing, bickering like old friends and even flirting a tiny bit. They both consider it a really good time. But even a good time has to end at some point and so their experiments are over and they seem a little sad about it, even if they would never admit it)

HARRY:"we are finally ready."

LOUIS:"I would suggest we both write our essay at home."

HARRY:"Okay with me." (Hesitates) "You could stay for dinner."

LOUIS:"I would love too." (Gently smiles at Harry)

Really late and short update ;) that is kinda a filler chapter, next chapter is the main chapter of the book, also its probably over soon :))
