Blair

Unknown number - blair?

Uknown number - blair can you pls answer me?

Unknown number - look im sorry ok?

Unknown number - just hear me out

My brows contorted looking at the four text messages sent from an unfamiliar number.

"What is it?" Drew focused on me.

"I don't know this nu..." I trailed off, the first set of numbers displayed on my screen started to become familiar.

"Oh my god no," I flip my textbook off my lap. Drew and I currently sit across from each other on the white cloud like rug in my basement, with my school assignment sheets scattered.

Homework is just such a joy isn't it? Note the sarcasm.

I'm doing my work, Drew stopped to 'check his phone' and has been on for half an hour now.

"Who is it?"

"Yeah I think I'm gonna need a restraining order," I nodded.

"Tell me who it is!" He grew irritated.

"It's..." My face scrunched in disgust. "It's Chris."

"Who?"

I gave an exasperated sigh. "Chris Ames. He's been trying to talk to me ever since you know. . . my s-"

"Yeah," He nodded, stopping me from bringing up the sensitive topic. Seems like he didn't want to remind himself of it either.

"And he just wont leave me alone," I groaned into my hands.

"Sweetie he obviously has a crush on you," Drew chuckled.

"What?" I remove my hands from my face.

"Let me see your phone," He reached over, but I snatched it from his reach.

"Why?" I eyed him skepticism.

"I'm just gonna mess with him a little," He fails to contain his mischievous smirk when he grabbed my phone.

"Drew give me my phone. I can handle him," I lunged for my case-less phone. But he stood up from the carpet, beginning to pace the room. His thumbs rapidly tapping at my screen.

"Drew! Gimme my phone!" I stood up from my Indian styled position. I hear him snort as he continues to tap away at my phone.

"Drew if I tell you one more time," I warned. The corners of his lips pulled into his radiant smile and he turned his back to me.

"Drew!" I whined angrily, leaping onto his back.

He broke out into a fit of laughs as my arms reached over his shoulders. He continued to move my phone out of my reach each time I tried to get a hold of it. The more he laughed, it became contagious. Before I know it, I'm laughing along with him.

"Ok ok, here," Drew's laughs subside as he hands me back my phone. I slid off his back, adjusting my red and white flannel that hung on my hips. And started to scroll through the messages.
