Mission: Take Yugi-sensei's First Kiss

Chapter 2: Yugi

"There! All done!" I let out a relieving sigh as I put in the last grade check in my laptop before logging out.

"That's great Yug'! Now, can we start plannin' for the Evenin' Festival?"

"Okay!"

While we're doing that, let me introduce myself. My name is Yugi Mutou. I'm an English teacher in Domino High. I have just recently been their teacher for almost about a month now, and at the beginning of that time....things didn't really go out that well. You see, when I was announced that I am going to be there teacher I thought that everyone would not like me. Since I'm short and.....everything! I was a nerve wreck, but when I enter the class and let the students see who I really am.

I was tackled to the ground. 😑

To say the least I was a bit surprise and confused. One minute I was trying to introduced myself, the next I was laying on the ground with a boy with shaggy blond hair on top of me. (Joey: Hehe~ That was me. I couldn't help myself, okay!) It was quite interesting. (Yami: *glaring at Joey*) Some of the students already accepted me, but most of the students didn't.

Especially, Yami.

Apparently, he thought that I'm a bit too young to be a teacher. More or less have to take orders from a small kid. Yeah, I know. Rude much. (Yami: Hey!) In order for ALL of the students to accept me, I tried my best to be the best teacher that I can be. Not to formal, not to lazy or boring, and most definitely DEFINITELY not too bossy. I'm not like that, so I try being myself. There are some good and bad times, but in the end he accepted me. I'm so happy~ 😊 Now, back to the story!

We started listing out the possible ideas that we can come up with for the festival. We thought up so many ideas that my head feels like it's going to shut-down anytime soon. I hate it when I have to wake up 5 in the morning.

"Oh! I know! How about we built that "Blue Beard" game? You know, the one where this person wear that silly pirate beard costume then need to stand on that plateform in order to fall in a tub full of water."

"That's a great idea Joey, but we don't have much money to get all of the supplies for that. Much less have time to build one in less than a few hours."

"Aww~" Joey pouted that one of his idea got shot down.

"Don't get upset about it. We could always think of more ideas that are better than the last time."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. But we could always ask that Rich bag to give us some money and-"

"Joey....." I said in a warning tone.

"...Or~ We could just think of some more ideas." Joey quickly said. Saving himself from getting in trouble. From me that is. I look at the clock that is above me and it shows that it's already 7:30am. Wow, time goes by so fast.

"I think we'll continue this during class. When class is almost done, we'll ask the other students for there ideas."

"Ka'y!"

I smile at his enthusiasm and excitement that is bubbling away from him. Now then. What is it that I need to do again? Oh, right!

"Hey Joey. I need to go and deliver these tests and quizzes that all of you guys did last week to the office right now. How about you go and take a break, before class starts."

"Oh, man. I bet the tests and quizzes are going to result in me being a total flunk!" Joey dramatically bang his head on my desk as he whimpers in fear.

"Now now Joey. Remember, the important thing you must learn is that you have tried your best and that you should be proud of it. And besides, you have your friends to help you if you do not understanding something. Who knows, maybe your hard work will pay off."
