(Zero's pov)

I sighed in slight irritation. When Natsume brought me back home I was called by Tet saying she found the files I had asked her to find as a favor. I made an excuse and left the apartment building, taking off to the book shop.

I pushed the glass door open and a chime sound could be heard. I smiled inwardly when I saw several kids and teens all around the shop reading books or sitting in the children's corner to watch the elf movie that was played every 4:50.

I went to the back when I saw that Tet wasn't in the front. I opened the door and mentally vomited when I saw her and her fiancee kissing. His name was Ringo Midori.

It's quite ironic how his last name means green and his hair was a natural light green color that I had commented is quite peculiar. He was a good guy and I had already told him I'll be willing to cut off his ring finger if he plans leaving Tet since he won't ever find someone as good as her.

Let's just say he was quite stiff and cautious around me for the first weeks, but soon began to warm up to me after hanging around the book shop and helping out.

I cleared my throat loudly. Tet nearly jumped 10 feet in the air and violent pushed Ringo into a pile of manga boxes. I raised an eyebrow and had to keep my laughter in. Tet turned to me with a red face that reminded me of a tomato.

"Z-Z-Z-Zero you should knock next time!" She shouted before nervously fiddling with her fingers. I walked up to her and lightly flicked her glasses.

"The sign on the door says employees only. If you wanted to get laid, do it somewhere else. "I blandly retorted causing her to become redder. I actually thought she was going to faint soon.

"I-IT W-W-WASN'T LIKE THAT!" She yelled at me in a stuttered while hiding her face in embarrassment. Before I could tease her anymore Ringo stood up after placing the books back in the box. "Nice to see you again Zero-san," he greeted calmly.

He was Tet's total opposite. In short, he's mature and acts his age.

"Yo," I greeted back before placing my hand in my pocket. "I'm just here to pick up those files. I have to head back to that damned place soon," I cursed with annoyance. Tet instantly popped back into her happy mode as she hugged me making me groan.

"You know you love them Z-chan~! Hey are you dating that Iori guy yet?" She asked out of nowhere. I got an irk mark and roughly pushed her off of me, causing her to fall on the floor on her butt. "Idiot. Is your head unscrewed or something?"

"That would also be very inappropriate honey," Ringo added before helping her up. I stuck my tongue out in grotesque at the term he used for her. "You guys are disgusting," I murmured.
