Ashton:

"(Y/N), where are you?" he asked as he padded through your home.

This was typical you two would spend a lot of time together whenever you two could. And today was no different. He told you yesterday that he would visit you, but you decided that you would do something different today then greet him at the door. Ashton let himself in and knew that he had to be careful, since you would have the habit surprising him and scaring him whenever you could. He would do the same to you, since you two have done this forever, since you were both kids.

He carefully walked through your home, listening to anything that could give away your location to him. But so far he had found or heard nothing, you were like a ninja. He was just waiting for you to come out and scare him. He was going to head to the kitchen, deciding that he should find something to eat, but as he was walking past a closet...

"Boo", you said jumping out of the closet scaring your best friend.

Ashton's hazel eyes widened as he saw you. He should have seen it coming, but he didn't. He let out one of the highest screech that you know that you would end up using against him, since it was one of the girlish screams a guy could do. He was shocked and took a few steps back.

"Was that really necessary?" he said trying to calm down his fastened heart.

"I think it was, you should have seen your face, but I'll just snap chat it to you, so you could see it yourself" you said as you were selecting him and also checking the box so it could go to your story as well. "Or maybe everyone should see it?"

"Don't you dare", he said with a smile.

"Too late", you said as you hit send and in a few seconds Ashton saw that he had a new snap notification.

He took out his phone and opened the new snap, and there it was, his scared shriek and you added, "such a manly scream...not' and checked your story and sure enough it was there too. He looked up at you, with a devious smirk. And you knew that look on his face. You immediately began to run away from the hazel eyed lad and laughing as you heard him laugh and start to chase you. You running through your house and you finally ran out of places to run that you ended up running to your big backyard, the yard where you and Ashton would play in when you were kids, the yard that he would try to teach you to how to drum on his practice drum kit, and most of all the place where you and him would share all your secrets.

But this was also the place where Ashton finally realized that he loved you, you two were laying on the grass looking up at the having a camp out in your backyard, since being early summer it wasn't too hot or cold outside. You two were watching the sun set, and you both argued who had the lamest joke. You were both coming up with really lame ones, but one actually made you laugh. He heard your laugh, and realized how when he was with you, there were no boundaries, he didn't have to be pretend to be something he wasn't, he was just Ashton Irwin, your best friend since ever. And just like he was himself with you, you were the same with him. around him you didn't have to pretend to smile, he would want you to tell him what was wrong, no matter if you thought it was stupid or not, you didn't have to hide any of your quirky or weird habits, since he didn't hide his either, you didn't have to be someone you're not, because to him you were already perfect, and hearing you laugh and smile so effortlessly that day made him realize that he had always loved you, but just now did he realize it.

He was still on your trail and just as you was going to turn around; Ashton grabbed your sides and softly tackled you to the ground. He was hovering over looking straight into your eyes. His face was so close to yours that his nose rubbed against you're before he put space between your faces, but still not removing himself from on top of you. He looked down on you and without even knowing it, he kissed you. His lips pressing against yours and you were too shocked to respond.
