Ethan's POV
"WE NEED TO FIND HER" I roar pacing around my office, knocking a vase off of my desk, making it shatter against the wall.
"You really need to calm down, when you get worked up like this people get nervous" Maggie, the pack's delta, says to me.
"Calm?! How dare you tell me to stay calm when my mate and my daughter are somewhere out there held captive by a cult of vampire!! How dare you tell me to calm down when our trackers can't even find a whole scent trail!!" I snarl at her
"I'm asking you to keep a level head because if you don't then this whole search is a lot harder. We need you- Hazelyn and Lacey need you to stay calm. Because if you don't then it will take longer. The alpha has contacted nearby packs and they have agreed to help, they have info and other valuable assets we need to rescue them." she reasons calmly
I stop pacing and stare at the ground, then I look up at Maggie and sigh. "I guess you're right, but when we find who took then...I will personally rip their throat out" I grumble
"No one will stop you Ethan, the other packs are on their way and once they are here we will get a lead on the trail."
I sit in my chair and rub my throbbing temples, I then proceed to put my head in my hands and sigh.
I jump at the feeling of a hand on my shoulder.
"They are both strong Ethan, they'll be okay."
"Thanks Maggie but could you leave me alone for a bit"
"Yeah"
Without saying a word she leaves the room.
I just sit there feeling numb without the two most important people in my life. I can't help but wonder if they are going to be okay. If they are In pain right now, I know I should have listened to Hazelyn then we probably would be curled up in our bed together. This is my fault, but I won't be the one to pay for my mistake. I feel utterly and completely helpless...

Alright go ahead and yell at me but at least I got this update done. I'm trying to update more, I swear. Just don't give up on me yet.
