The next morning I woke up in Ethan's arms, I should probably get up I thought to myself. But truthfully it felt so good right there in Ethan's arms.
I forced myself to get up, I drove to Starbucks still in my pajamas. I decided to get Ethan a coffee too.
When I got back Ethan was still sleeping so I made breakfast. Almost as if on cue, I set the plates down at the table and Ethan appeared at the table.
"Well I guess someone smelled food." I said
"I'm starving" he said basically inhaling the food
"You sure" I teased
He put his plate in the sink and I started doing the dishes and felt arms wrap around my waist and lips on my neck.
"What you doin?" He asked
"What does it look like I'm doing?" I said sarcastically
Just then the phone rang and went to answer it.
"Hello?" I said
"Hey" said a familiar voice on the other line
"Who is this?"
"This is Val Hart, your best friend and former packmate." He replied
"Val!"
"I was wondering what your new address is, Morgyn said you moved out" he said
"Why do you need my address?" I asked
"Brandon and I want to stop by to see you" he said
In case your wondering Brandon is my ex boyfriend and former packmate but after we broke up we were still friends.
"Oh ok" I told him my address
"I'll be over in like 45 minutes" he said
"Ok I'll be here" I said hanging up the phone
"Who was that?" asked Ethan
"My 2 old friends are coming over in like 45 minutes" I told him
"Cool what are their names?" asked Ethan
"Val and Brandon" I replied
"They're boy?" He asked raising an eyebrow
"Aww, is someone jealous that you're not the only boy I ever talk to?" I teased
"As long as they had no part in your love life at anytime" he said
"Well one of them is my ex boyfriend"
Ethan snapped head toward me and and growled possessively.
"Calm down, why would I ever think of cheating on my mate?"
"I don't know, but-"
I cut him off and said "No buts I love you and you only now we better go get dressed they will be here soon"
"Alright"
We headed upstairs to get ready I was originally going to wear a spaghetti strap tank top with short shorts but Ethan made me change into more modest shorts.
Ethan and I were downstairs watching TV, then the doorbell rang. I stood up to answer it and Ethan followed me.
I opened the door. Val and Brandon were standing there.
"Val!" I exclaimed jumping up and hugging him as Ethan growled softly.
"I'm excited to see you too" Val teased
"Val this is my mate Ethan, Ethan this is my best friend Val. Brandon this is my mate Ethan, Ethan this is my ex and friend Brandon." I introduced. Ethan shook both their hands.
We all chatted for awhile and eventually Val and Brandon had to go so I said goodbye and they left. When the door closed I turned to Ethan.
"See you have no reason to be jealous" I said
"I have seen the way guys look at you" he said
I sat on the couch next to him "I'm not even that pretty" I said
He pulled me close to him and kissed my head "Don't be like that, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on"
"You really think so?" I asked
He nodded.
"I am taking you to meet my parents tomorrow" he said
"Cool I have been waiting" I said
I looked into his eyes, they looked so loving and trusting. How could anyone not live this man. He was the sweetest. He leaned in and kissed me, it was one of the most passionate yet.
We parted and went upstairs to get our pajamas on then went to bed.
The last thing I remember that night was Ethan pulling me close to him and cuddling till I drifted to sleep...
