Hectic. One word to describe Allie's Friday. It wasn't twelve noon yet and she was beat.

Her head was thrumming and her mind, racing.

Worst of all, her period was late by two weeks with no sign that it might show up.

She was starring blankly at the now blurry words on the screen of her desktop computer.

"Bestie's girlfriend, there's an emergency meeting at the general meeting room two."

Liam said, stopping at her table.

Allie looked up at him and smiled.

"I'm so nervous Al, I don't know... What if she says no?"

Allie shook her head at Liam.

"She loves you Lee-yum, trust me."

She reassured him and stood up.

"Come on, let's go  so I can watch you and have something to laugh about."

She said, pushing him out of her office.

Liam was going to ask Kath to marry him in front of all his staff members.

Romantic.... Yeah.

Allie was happy for them but that wasn't her problem right now.

She had lots more to worry about.

Sitting absently in the huge hall, her mind was flying in different directions, she could barely hear what Liam was saying.

Then it struck her...

She was double screwed.

Now that she thought about it... They never used protection.

Taking deep breaths, she resisted the urge to slap herself senseless.

Oh God no, no, no, no... It can't be!

Tears stung her eyes and she blinked furiously, pushing them back.

How could she be so careless?!

Now Dom would think she just wants to tie him down, that she was desperate.

But it was he who came to her, he seduced her. She tried resisting him...

Shut up Al, you're not blaming this on anyone.

Her palms wetted and her body was shaking violently.

Blocking everything out, she focused on not having a panic attack.

Deep breaths, deeper...

She sighed and relaxed against the backrest of her chair.

She heard cheering around her and snapped back to reality to see Liam and Kath in a tight lip lock.

Allie knew Kath would agree anyway, she was too into Liam not to say yes.

"Awww... Al, isn't this beautiful? They look so cute together."

Evie said beside Allie who only just noticed her.
