Walk Past the World

Silver streets and gilded corners
No one stops to see the borders
The edge of the world is close
Closer than you think take a dose
Look past the end of the world
To see sun's wings unfurled
The brightest light you can see
Is also inside you and me
The grandest set and rise
Is not always found in the skies
The brilliance of a world to see
If you can but find a key
The path is new for each new one
The door on the cliff holds the sun

The best or worst way who knows
Only them who past it goes
The ones who fly to the light
Without a hint of flight
The ones who bleed
The ones who cry
The ones who only wish to die
The ones who smile
The ones who read
Anyone who can't lead
The people of each world may know
What said food has to show
The brightest star
The morning bright
Few it gives an awful fright
But those who stay behind do see
The most amazing thing

When you see the sun
You have only just begun
The door on the edge
The sheerest ledge
Can not stop you
Like you can
Be falling when you ran

Walk right off the world
Onto a path of naught
The sun is right in front of you
But when you reach it who knew
Where the only wind blew
The brightest star is deep inside
It is awful hard to hide
When you try to run away
You just go to a new day
Only you could feel this way
Tread on to that new day
Only the sun is in your way
