Gleaming Friendship

People may ask why I leave them there
"I never look so I don't care"
I shrug I laugh I really just like my friends
Even though it hurts to breath I smile and hope it never ends
I keep on gasping but I'm grasping for it
I never look back
My decisions made and done
Cut them some slack
I play this game and find it fun
I laugh I smile
I try more awhile

I really just don't care
If I looked if I dare
I probably would stare

At the gleaming metal in my spine
But yet if I had I would not pine nor whine
Not a whimper would you hear
Because I find it dear
That even one would climb so near
Just to hug me with a knife in hand
So you can gawk or stare
But mind you it does not me scare
Just because I think they care
If they get that close then hip horra
The knives shatter
Peaces scatter
I nere fear the latter
As I don't look back I don't feel pain
But as in my mind it dissapears
All I get is gain
So may my past look as it leers
And see that even though it sends assassins
I make them friends
I tend to love the knives in my back :)
