Zuri just pointed to Ichigo.
“You choose Ichigo?” Aizen laughed “But then your family shall die”
Zuri grabbed Ichigo’s arm and dragged him away, then she turned will still running and sent a hand made of shadows toward Aizen, he blocked then glared at Zuri.
“That’s a risk I’ll have to take” Zuri shouted back.
Zuri chose Ichigo because, if she didn’t kill him then her family would die and she knew that she wasn’t as strong as Ichigo, she may have become stronger by being here with Aizen but Ichigo was probably training as well. So Zuri decided that if she picked Ichigo he would live and then she can protect her family and make sure they don’t die.
Once they were a safe distance away they stopped, Ichigo turned to Zuri to see that she was trying to stop herself from crying, so he grabbed her by her shoulders and hugged her while she placed her head on his chest listening to his heart thump away.
The moment seemed to go on forever until they both realised that they had to find Inoue, but then Inoue came out from behind a crushed rock along with Grimmjow.
“I want to fight you, Ichigo” Grimmjow grinned “Oi, Woman, heal him”
Inoue started healing Ichigo, Zuri couldn’t help but feel jealous, and Inoue was always close to Ichigo so Zuri was sure that Inoue liked him, but that made her not want to like Ichigo because it would ruin their friendship.
After both Grimmjow and Ichigo were healed the group of five travelled up to the top of a tower, Inoue, Zuri and Nel watched as Ichigo and Grimmjow battled it out. They were both fighting to become stronger, Grimmjow wanted to prove he was the best and Ichigo was here to save his friends.
As Zuri watched the fight she couldn’t help but feel like Aizen didn’t put up much of a fight as she walked away from him, he didn’t even put up a fight for Inoue.
Zuri chewed on her bottom lip as she watched Ichigo fight Grimmjow; they both were putting up a good fight and were challenging each other. Grimmjow released his Bankai and transformed into a suit that resembled a white panther of some sort.
Everyone’s eyes widened as Grimmjow’s speed increased because in less than a second he appeared in front of Ichigo and slashed down his chest with his claws.
Ichigo released his Bankai and then they both started clanging their weapons against each other. Grimmjow formed a Cero in his hand and aimed it for Ichigo.
“Getsuga Ten--” Ichigo tried blocking the Cero with an attack of his own.
Grimmjow grinned evilly and threw his Zanpakuto up into the air so he could use his other hand to form a Cero and kill Ichigo. Ichigo’s eyes widened as he saw the Cero edging itself closer to him, Ichigo used his hollow reiatsu to block the attack and jumped away from Grimmjow.
Ichigo then released his Hollow form and a mask appeared on his face, Inoue and Zuri gasped. It was the first they had both seen his mask, Zuri knew of hit but didn’t actually know what it looked like. Grimmjow threw 5 bullet toward Ichigo, he easily dodged then Grimmjow grinned and Ichigo’s eyes widened as he looked behind him to see that the bullets were aimed at Zuri, Inoue and Nel.
Ichigo used Shunpo and flashed toward his friends and stood in front of them and took the blows, Inoue gasped when she caught the look in Ichigo’s eyes. Zuri couldn’t help but be in a trance by those eyes, they reminded her of herself when the bloodlust took over.
Tears pricked at Inoue’s eyes as she heard Ichigo groan.
“Are you alright?” Inoue sobbed.
