When I was sixteen I met a girl in my psych ed class. She was called Nina and I swore to God she was the love of my life. It could have been the slick brown hair, the bright blue eyes, the intelligence or humour, or maybe her chest.

She started smiling at me regularly, and hugging me if she hadn't seen me in a while. Then one day she kissed me and I didn't exactly have a problem with it, but she didn't like me.

I told her I was a football player, a really awesome guy. I told her I was two years older than I was and somehow she didn't piece together that it was a lie.

Until she told her friend all these things, who just so happened to be a long term family friend.

I was slapped and told I would never get to see her again. She said she never loved me and that I was a pathetic loser.

Teen girls can be bitches.
