To those of you who are reading my tale
You now know of my troubles and my sorrow,
My people and family, gone forever.
I was taken from my destroyed home
Then I ran and found sanctuary
But then I was captured once again
Forced to fight for my life
And then saved by those who brought me here.
Now a newly found friend saw the true me,
A Prince who tried to make it all better,
Kindness and gifts he never spared,
While I tried to ignore that I even cared.
For once I had started to let myself feel
Hope, friendship, and maybe even love
But again nothing in my life could be good.
Everything started to crumble,
A new found power given to me by my blood,
Their return brought an intruder,
And shattered my heart;
Then a traitor emerged.
Why must it have to be this way?
Hate, pain, and power
Brought an end to the peace,
But I will put and end to this.
I may feel pain and suffer from their torture,
But I will end this war.
