As Jessica got ready she was sweating and nervous.
" jess you OK" halo asked her as she helped her with her undergarments.
" i wanna throw up" she told her, then she suddenly ran to the bathroom.

" no i missed my period" Jessica told her

" does Alex know" halo asked her beat friend
" no I'm scared if i tell him, he mite not wanna marry me no more" she told
" some wrong with ya" halo told her
" Alex love your dumb ass it doesn't matter cause he stuck by you regardless, he didn't leave yo for no ex or hurt you when you been his rock, Alex genuinely love ya dumb ass, so don't sit here and act stupid" halo told her
" damn he really did a number on you huh? But thank you and I'm sorry for what that fuckboy did" Jessica told her, halo felt some type of way, but she sucked it up and kept on moving.
" its coo lets get ready cause ya ass getting married today" halo told her and they laughed and continued.
"Alex why yo nervous" Alex dad asked him
" dad i love this girl you know, but I'm feeling like maybe she too good for me" he told his dad making him laugh.
" she is son but that is what you need in your life, a good woman, like Jessica she is lil rough around the edges but any diamond can be polished and you are one lucky bastard" his father told him
They laughed just as Kadeem came walking in fixing his tie.
" yo homie you good" kadeem asked Alex
" yeah just was lil nervous, but dad talked me down, i know I'm lucky to have Jessica and i love her" Alex said kadeem felt kinda shitty but halo moved on.
" son are you gonna try get that girl back" Alex dad asked kadeem
" she moved on and she is engaged" kadeem said
" you a damn fool boy, that girl stuck by ya dumb ass took care of you and when what her name again Neva mind came back you just leave the best thing in ya life to go back to what?" Alex dad asked looking at him, kadeem couldn't answer, he held back his emotions and continued his business.
