Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) describes the spousal relationship in Surah Al-Baqarah, when He says:

هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ
Translation: They are your garments and you are their garments. [Surah Baqarah, verse 187]

SubhanAllah, Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) compares the relationship between a husband and wife as clothing. Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) says that both the husband and wife are "libaas", garments, for each other. This shows the equality that Allah places between spouses and how each partner has a role in the relationship.

Days were passing rather quickly, and we visited many houses. I was totally at ease around him now and holding his hands made my heart sing. He would confess his love for me whenever he got a chance, and I would always say things like I love your eyes, hair, nose etc. I was waiting for the right moment to reciprocate my feelings, maybe during our honeymoon.

We were leaving tonight and I was being a control freak again. I packed both our bags keeping in mind his tablets and some other medicines. I even searched online and had a full list of places to visit. He was surprised to see the bags packed and everything ready.

I took out a red t shirt and a jeans and placed it on the bed for him to change into after his shower. He had requested, very lovingly, few days back that I should choose clothes for him to wear as we were doing house visits daily.

He preferred me to choose what he wears and I liked the idea of matching our clothes. I liked red on him. I took a red t-shirt and jeans for myself and waited for him to come out. I was always captivated every time he comes out shirtless though I don't show it out much.

He had already left to the living room with the bags. I quickly wore my abayya and went after him. Ummi kissed me and wished us a good journey. Abba dropped us.

"Amju take care of her. Malaysia is a busy place with lots of people, stay close to her at all times and enjoy "Abba told Ju before leaving.

The check in happened comfortably and I was seated by the window seat waiting for take-off.

He recited dua for journey and I recited it with him.

"So are you ready to take off for your honeymoon? " he grinned mischievously.

The word honeymoon still had an effect on me and I blushed slightly.

"Don't worry Mr Amjad Navas, it would be fun, I promise" I stuck my tongue out and he pecked me on my cheeks. Thankfully no one saw this quiet exchange.

I don't know when he slept but I was asleep before I knew it and both of us woke up to the announcement from the airhostess.

"Salamat Dathang" which meant welcome to Malaysia. I had researched a bit and had written down some important words in Malay in case there was an emergency. We took a cab and left for the city.

Skyscrapers where towering over us and it made me feel very tiny. It took a long time to arrive at Ritz Carlton. It was a magnificent Hotel. Our suite was not yet ready and our luggage was kept in the cloaks room, so we waited in the restaurant.

There was a buffet breakfast and it was a bit crowded. I noticed a hijabi sitting all alone opposite us.

She had a spark in her eye and looked very familiar. I told Ju to get me some breakfast as the counter was crowded with men and he happily obliged.

"Ju, I want to talk to the lady sitting opposite us. I think I know her. If you don't find me in this seat don't panic, okay. I'll be there. " I pointed in her direction and he left with a slight nod.
