Above is how I picture Ivey Jennings would look like.

"Hey, Isa! How are you doing?"

It was William on the phone and I was happy to hear his voice since I hardly see him.

"I'm doing good. How's that art studio?"

"I can't wait for you to see it! I'm working on this modern art collection that I think will turn out amazing. The walls are getting painted with bright colors instead of the typical white walls."

I chuckle a little, you could tell how excited Will was for the production of it all.

"That sounds wonderful William. I can't wait to see it too. I don't mean to cut you off but is my sister there? She told me to call her as soon as I got home from work."

"Okay, one moment."

I hear movement on his side of the phone before I hear my sister's voice.

"Is that Isa?"

"Yeah, it's her."

William replies and I assume he's handing over the phone now.

"Will, baby...you think you can go on the balcony for a moment? Isa and I have something really woman sensitive to discuss."

"Alright. Nice talking to you Isa."

"Same here!"

I'm not sure what's so sensitive but I'm guessing I'll soon know.

"Isa, is there anyone around you?"

"No, why?"

"Are you sure? Theo isn't there?"

I sigh, getting up from my computer chair and walking to Theo's room.

I open the door to see him bopping his head to music with his headphones and I close the door.

"Nah, he's not here," I tell her just to get on with it.

"Okay. What I'm about to tell you can not be discussed with anyone. Do you understand? No one. Not Hazel or Theo or our parents. Got it?"

"Yeah yeah, I get it. What's the problem?"

"There's no problem. It's the greatest thing that's ever happened to me."

I'm kind of scared to hear whatever she's talking about...

"Isabella, I'm pregnant."

The words don't fully register and I sit there for a moment.

"Hello, are you there?" Ivey whispers to me and my mouth opens and closes like a fish.

"You're what?"

"I'm pregnant. I'm having a baby. Will and I are having a baby. You're going to be an aunt."

"This is...this is amazing. I'm so happy for you Ivey. That's wonderful news! I can't believe it, I'm going to have a little niece or nephew. Oh wow, I can't believe this. I'm so happy."

"I'm glad you are. I don't want to tell anyone until Christmas. I really couldn't wait though and I knew if I told you, you wouldn't say anything."

I was glad that my sister could trust me with something like this.

I still have a small urge to run and tell Theo but I'll remain trustworthy.

"Thanks for confiding me, I really appreciate it."

"Of course Auntie Isa."

I chuckle at that. I was so excited for my new family member and couldn't wait to be the cool aunt.
