Chapter 13: This is my family

Aqua's POV

After dinner, Paul, Sally, Percy, Luke, and I had walked back to Sally's appartment...

No one had spoke until Percy, "Mom, I know you dont mean it, but ever since you ment Aqua, you've treated her like a princess and you've treated me like I'm her servant!"

"Oh Percy, I'm sorry. It's just, well you've had me looking out for you forever, Aqua has only known me about a year and a half." Sally noted

"Sal-Mother, with all due respect, I've done things by myself since I was little, I don't want to be treated the way your treating me." I spoke, hoping I didn't hurt her feelings

She looked a bit heartbroken, "I-I didn't know you felt that way, Aqua."

"I'm sorry, but Percy needs you to look out for him, I don't."

Paul put his arms around my mothers waist and held her... "Alright."

Percy grabbed my hand and pulled me with him a couple of doors down... "I don't exactly want to be treated like a mamas boy, just..."

"Just when no ones looking?" I interrupted

"No, I just-I want her to notice me... Ever since you came along, I might as well be the floorboards, because it's like mom didn't even know I existed, unless she was asking me where you were... It just hurts, Aqua, it hurts."

"Do you think your the only one whos had emotional pain? Try growing up in an orphanage, the only friends I had were Saphire, the orphanage owner and Annabeth, but I was terrified of her. And you wanna know what else hurts?! Your the big shot of the camp and the gods, no matter what I do it isn't good enough! I could save mount Olympus and everyone would be cheering you on!" I yelled at the top of my lungs

"Aqua, I had no idea how you felt..."

"Oh ya, thats exactly why you sent me to the gods after Luke and I fell in love! That's why you barely egnolaged me at camp! That's why you just complain and complain! That's why YOU take credit for things that I do! You want to know the truth?!"

"..." Percy looked terrified and paralysed

"The truth is that I hope your the child of the big three that holds the prophacy and dies! I just want you out of my life, you and your little girlfriend ruined my life!"

"Aqua, I..." Percy tried to speak

"No, shut up! Do me a favor and don't talk to me! Leave me alone and stay away from me! I never wanted a brother, especially one like you!"

I turned my head towards Paul, Sally, and Luke who had their mouths open in shock, I turned back to Percy who had a tear rolling down his face, and I walked away.

I felt bad about hurting Percy, but everything I said was true. I couldn't help it, something in me just snapped and I lost it.

Percy is like the prince and I am a lossy peasant, that's honestly how I fell.

You know how they say you can't pick your family? I despritely wish I could have, then I might not be involved with Kronos, and I wouldn't have so many problems with my brother, and I might actually be happy.

Although if I was able to chose my own family, I would choose a human family, and if I chose a human family, I wouldn't be a Demi-god and I wouldn't have Luke. I have no idea what I'd do without my Luke.

To be honest, sometimes I want to choose my own family, but at the same time I don't, because I have my Luke, and I mean how many kids can say their dad is Poseidon?

I'm not really someone to update that often, BUT if more than 50 people/fans tell me I should update next week, well it's sunday here in California so this week, then I will. Remember, things just got juicy between Aqua and Percy, can you really wait to see what happens next?"
