Any form of abuse is never okay, it never expresses love or care in any way whatsoever. If you are being abused, speak out about it. There are so many places one can go to or people one can speak to about abuse be it physical or emotional. Only cowards would ever dream of raising a hand to a woman or child. These men abuse their power and positions of authority in order to control women, we do not need to be controlled and he is coward for trying to. I honestly feel violent when I hear stories of abuse towards women and children. Who gives you the right to harm anything or anyone? Break the cycle of violence, break the silence, know your rights, act against abuse and do not look away!
