the pain of love
got too boring for me
it's the thought
that there are real problems out there
juicier, more heartbreaking
and being a kid in love doesn't really shock anyone
it's not exactly the stuff people make movies about or write stories about
there are children who die everyday in my country
there are loved ones leaving for other countries, probably never to return again
there are parents who separate because they just aren't happy anymore
and maybe I'm being conceited
but there just seems so much more to be sad about
than puppy love.
