Three Weeks Later
Friday

Justin's POV

Our baby boy was three weeks old and let's just say the past weeks had been...interesting. Being responsible for another little human is not something you can prepare for. Their needs come before  your own and you'll have a hell of a time figuring it out because they can't talk yet. All Levi did was sleep, eat, pee, and occasionally poop. Surprisingly he didn't cry as much as I expected him to. He was only a baby so all I could do was stare at him. He's the perfect little combination of Audri and me. He has big brown eyes and those long lashes that shadow his warm complexion, not to mention a cute little button nose. I didn't think that I could love such a little human this much.

I tried to help Audri out during the night, but it was difficult because she breastfed and she said it was too soon to bottle-feed him. Every two hours, she feeds him. I honestly don't know why she was so worried. In these short three weeks, she had been so attentive and protective of Levi. Every little sound he made, there she was.

The most amazing thing to see was when she fed him. The way she gazed at him, it was just unbelievable. I was already bummed that I was going to miss so much when I had to go back on tour in a few short weeks.

Around ten in the morning I found myself sitting next to Audri on the couch as she breastfed. I took in her features as she stared at our heavy eyed baby. He suckled until he nearly drifted to sleep. Audri burped him and cradled him back in her arms waiting for him to fall asleep. She had been sporting dark circles and tired eyes, but all I really saw was beauty like the day I first laid eyes on her.

"Am I that ugly?" Audri spoke causing me to break my gaze. She tiredly rested her head on the back of the sofa. I noticed that Levi finally drifted to sleep so I decided to give her a little break.

"You couldn't be ugly even if you tried," I stood up and carefully gathered Levi from her tired arms.
"Go get some sleep before you lose your chance," I nodded towards the stairs before sitting back down.

"I don't think I can make it up those stairs," she laid her head on my lap and closed her eyes.

I looked at the baby in my arms and my lovely girlfriend on my lap. "Babe, what if I have to pee?" I questioned seriously.

Her eyes fluttered open briefly. "You're a daddy now, you don't get to pee when you want," she said before resting her eyes. "Oh, and if you wake him up, I'll be forced to strangle you," she added.

"Baby, I can't be trapped here underneath the both of you. Let's go get back in bed," I laughed at her threat.

After a few minutes, I finally got us all upstairs without waking Levi, which I was really thankful for. I couldn't really do much, but hold him as he peacefully slept. Audri wasn't playing around and I dared not to test her.

For the next two hours I watched as my babies slept soundly. Expectedly like clockwork, Levi woke up at twelve ready to eat again.

As soon as his little lungs got to work, Audri emerged from her sleep reaching for the little screamer. "Okay baby, mama's not gonna let you starve," she consoled as she took him from my arms. "Did you change him yet?" her eyebrow lifted in question as she walked around the room rocking him in her arms.

"No, I didn't want to wake him," I replied, earning a sigh from her.

"Daddy is no help, is he?" she muttered and sauntered into the in suite.

"I'm trying. You're always grabbing him like I don't know what I'm doing," I yelled so she could hear me.

"You don't know what you're doing," she yelled back.
