A few days later Lydia had set in a temporary banishment from her house with the promise that Stiles would be permanently banished unless he completed a full week of school.
Every time Stiles tried to protest Lydia would just restate the word "permanently" like she was a broken parrot. After noting the fact he'd just compared his sick friend to that of the most annoying bird on the planet, Stiles figured that she was being serious. He had returned home to actually grab his backpack that in all honestly had begun to collect dust from sitting in the back of his closet for so long, and to put on clothes that were somewhat presentable enough to be seen in the actual world.
Goodbye glorious days of walking over to the Martins in nothing but pajamas.
The events that transpired after that first day weren't even worthy of being called events. In fact, Stiles' first week back at school probably had to be the most boring week of his entire life. And that's including all visits to his grandparents house.
