I've really been craving a protective style for the winter. Box braids are my top option, but at the moment I just don't have the cash to pay anyone for it. I'm a high school student and no one will hire me; I don't have a huge supply of money lol. So to substitute my craving,I've been doing a protective style with my own hair.
I've been simply keeping my hair in twists for 2-3 days before unraveling them to create a boooommmmbbbb twist out. It gives me a nice break, and they're a cute style as well. Most importantly it's protecting my hair from the weather and other elements. I've been wearing them loose or pinned back into a style. Depending on your length you can do an undo as well. What's your winter protective style? Tell me in the comments! I hope y'all enjoyed this short chapter. Merry Christmas to all my Naturals!
