Stop at nothing

Steve pov
Fields, I'm surrounded by green fields empty and alone, how did I get here? What happened? Where's Natasha?
"Hello!" I shout
"Hello!" Again nothing until I hear footsteps, I turn around to see Natasha sprinting away from me I call out for her but nothing I continue shouting her name whilst running after her but my legs begin to feel tiered, but she still races on, I've never seen her run this fast, I've never seen anyone run this fast, except for quicksilver but I never actually see him, then suddenly she stops and turns around and looks directly at me she smiles but then she looks to her left and her smile fades, I hear a gun shot and see nat fall to the ground, I sprint towards her shouting her name
"Nat- no Natasha!"
"Please god no not again"
I run to her and put her head on my lap, I stroke her hair out of her face to see blood spilling out of her mouth
"No no no no please stay with me nat"

I shoot upwards nearly falling off the bed, nightmare, it was only a nightmare, I was so fazed by this nightmare that I didn't realise the lady standing at the door
"Nightmare?" She asked, I simply nod in response
"How's Natash- Natalie?" I ask relieved I didn't just blow my cover
"I managed to take the bullet out and the blood loss problem seems to have sorted itself out, she seems to be recovering very quickly actually it's quite abnormal for a person to be healing this quickly but yes She's fine, she's actually requesting you" I smile with relief thank God she's ok, I think to myself
"Thank you so much ma'am is there anything we can do to repay this debt?" I ask whilst getting up
"Well there is one thing" she says with a smile
"Anything you name it"
"Tell her" she replies, I'm confused at first but then I get it 
"Don't wait to long, it's obvious you care a lot about her the best thing you can do is tell her or you might regret it in the future" she had a point
"Ok I will, thank you uh, sorry what's your name?"
"Peggy" she replies, I immediately smile at the name
"Peggy I like that name, anyway thank you so much Peggy I really don't know what would have happened to Natalie without you, she could have been dead but she's not because of you So thank you, it's good to know there are still good people in this world" I say gratefully with a smile
"Your welcome, well anyway she's in the room just down the hallway, you can stay for breakfast to get your strength up before you leave"
"Thank you Peggy, do you mind if I use you phone quickly, I need to phone a relative probably worried sick?"
"Yep just on the wall outside Natalie's room" she says whilst pointing her hand in the direction of the phone
"Thanks" I say
Ring ring
"Come on, pick up" I whisper under my breathe
"This is Barton"
"Clint it's me James I'm with Natalie"
"Oh Steve, where are you and Natasha? we got the message, i was just about to leave to look for you guys, the team is worried sick"
"Clint we were on our way to the airport-"
"Wait airport why?"
"Natalie was leaving and I was taking her when we got attacked by a women I think it's a women called yel-yela
"Yelena belova" he says whilst interrupting me
"Yeah how did you uh know that"
"Doesn't matter, was nat leaving because of her?"
"Yes" I simply say
"Wait is nat ok?" He asks
"No she was shot, she's ok now but it was a bit touch and go"
"What she was shot where are you guys I'm coming to get you?"
"No that's the last thing she wants, that's why she was leaving to not bring everyone else in on this" I say sternly
"Wait Rogers how'd you escape?"
"We lost them in a forest where we found a jeep and drove to a barn"
"Listen Rogers I've got to go now but just a word of warning I've delt with this yelena girl and she's good, she is hard, and she is merciless, she will stop at nothing to kill Natasha, she's tried before and it always, always ends with nat getting really hurt, ok so don't let her out of your site"
"Ok Barton I won't" I say back
"Ok well bye and keep nat safe" he says whilst hanging up, I place the phone back down and walk into Nat's room to see her standing up looking out of the window

Nat's pov
I'm looking out the window when I hear footsteps, loud footsteps, Steve it must be Steve, I turn around to see him standing there smiling,
"Nat you shouldn't be standing you should be resting" he says concerned
"Nah I'm fine, I can feel the enhancers kicking in" I simply say whilst Turing around and facing the window again, I try to shut it but stop half way due to the pain it just caused me, I hold my shoulder and scrunch my eyes trying desperately to keep the Yelp I so badly want to let out, in
"Your not fine nat, you may have enhancers that help you heal faster, but they don't stop the pain, you need to rest" he says sternly
I turn to face him again to tell him I really am fine when I hear something, I stop dead in my tracks and look directly at the door
"Nat what ar-" Steve starts before I put my hand on his mouth stopping him, I place my finger on my lips to tell him to be quiet, he nods so I take my hand off his mouth, I point toward the door and start walking towards it, the closer I get the clearer it becomes, there here, I was just about to tell Steve when I hear a thump, oh know the lady, shit she's probably dead, but then I hear a click followed by lots of beeps, and I realize what that is
"Steve get down!" I shout whilst running back, unfortunately I was to late and the door exploded sending me flying back into the wall, my body screams in agony as I hit the ground and I can feel the blood falling from my face, I see my new bandage covered in blood, great my gsw has opened up, that's just great, I try to get up but my arms won't allow me to, I try to look for Steve to see him gone, just as I was about to shout his name he comes running through the door, I see he has a giant gash on his forehand and his shield had got others blood on it, he runs towards me
"Nat come on we gotta go" he shouts, he helps me up onto my feet, I try to walk but my legs fail me and I fall luckily Steve caught me
"I'll carry you"
"No it's only my left leg I can walk I'll just need a little help" I instruct him, he nods and gives me a gun
"You might need this"
"Let's go!" I say
We run out of the door with Steve holding onto his shield and me holding onto him and a gun shooting anything that moves, we walk/limp past the lady that helped us, she was lying on the floor with a bullet hole in her head, I look down and hold back the tears that want to fall, we continue heading to the jeep shooting all of the people outside, Strangely, yelena, isn't here, I can't see her anyway, she just sent in her crappy thugs to do her dirty work for her, bitch, finally we reach the jeep and speed off leaving dead bodies scattered all over the floor, I can't help but feel guilty, that women helped us out of the goodness of her heart and this is what she gets back, this is what yelena does its in her nature, I'm finally gonna end this and I will stop at nothing to kill that Crazy son of a bitch, I will Avenge everyone she's ever killed she's not getting away with this, not this time.
