Steve walks me to my room and tells me to rest, I know I can't because Jacob will haunt my nightmares so I decide to take a cold shower and put on some clean clothes. After I get out the shower I wrap my hair in a towel and cover the rest of my body with my dressing gown, I was just about to start drying my hair when I hear a knock at the door I open it go find Steve standing there looking down at me with a cheesy smile
"Nice gown nat" he says with a chuckle
"Yeah" I say back, he huffs at me and sits down on my bed and looks to see it's still made up and neat
"You haven't slept at all have you?" He asks me worried, I glance at him then the ground and huff
"No" I say simply
"You need to nat you can't carry on like this"
"Like what Steve?, someone who has feelings, I know you might think that's odd for me but believe it or not I do have feelings, I am human, I can just cover them up better than you ever can, your an open book Steve!" I shout, I immediately see the hurt look in his eyes and regret saying it
"I'm sorry I didn't mean that"
"I know you didn't, your under a lot of stress and your not feeling 100% at the moment, I get it, it's cool" he says with a smile
"Did you just say 'it's cool'?" I ask with a laugh, Steve always manages to cheer me up, even if he doesn't even try
"Yes I did and I'm proud of it"
"Well ok then, anyway back on track was there a reason you came to my room when I was practically naked, well kind of, not really but that's not the point, but yeah was there?"
"Ha yeah um fury says and I quote 'you and Romanoff have one hour to pack your stuff and get your asses down here ready for when we leave for the new hideout" I laugh at his attempt of fury's accent
"What kind of accent was that?" I shout with a laugh
"It was fury's" he replies slightly embarrassed
"No it wasn't" I laugh back
"Anyway go on get out I need to get dressed"
"Can't I stay, technically were boyfriend and girlfriend now?"
"Umm let me think about I- yeah no, get out go on" I point towards the door
"Huh fine your no fun" I laugh at his last comment and lock the door, just in case, and get dressed in grey joggers with a black top and black shoes, what can I say I like the color black, I grab all my important stuff, clothes, deodorant, shampoo and all my guns and pack for the journey I chuck in my newly washed clothes and the letter from the red room falls out, I pick it up and read it again with a tear falling down my face, the scene just replays in my mind over and over again
"Whoever they are beat them, be the blackwidow, my hero"
More tears fall down my face and I scrunch the note back into my pocket
"I will beat them Jacob, I will" I wipe the tears away and zip up my bag, I check one last time around my room to see I'm not forgetting anything, once satisfied I leave the room locking it behind me and head down to the quin jet.
I finally arrive there to be greeted by fury and Steve
"Ahh good your finally here we can leave now" I nod in reply then realize what he just said
"Wait what, we? No no no no with all due respect your not coming no chance"
"I'm afraid it's not your decision and besides Rogers was fine with it and shields perfectly capable in hill's hands whilst I'm gone"
I look to fury then Steve who just shrugs his shoulders
"Huh unbelievable" I whisper under my breathe whilst walking into the quin jet
"I heard that Romanoff" I turn around and smile and head straight for the co-pilots seat waiting for Steve and fury to board, they talk for a few minutes but finally board and fury sits in the pilots seat and Steve just stands behind us
"Hey nat can I be co-pilot this way you'll get a chance to sleep?" He asks, I debate this for a minute than decide to agree because as they say 'I'm running on fumes' at the moment so I switch seats with Steve and lie down on the bed in the back
"Please don't have any dreams" I whisper under my breathe as my eyes close shut.
