My Protective detail

Natasha's pov
"Look sir it wasn't-"
"Don't look sir me romanoff you disobeyed direct shield rules, you need to inform me on this you can't do this alone"
"With all due respect I do, this is my business and I'm not having anyone get hurt because of it"
"Yeah well they have, and they will and its there decision if they get involved you can't just separate your self from shield and the avengers you have a job and I can't have one of my best agents, one of the five people I actually trust dead so that's why I'm assigning you a protective detail"
"Your what, no way I'm not having this shit!"
"It's happening weather you like it or not and don't forget who your talking to romanoff"
I sigh, this can't be happening I swear if it's a shield trainee I don't know if I will be able to stop myself from committing a very serious crime that result in death, for them
"Look please I don't need it I'm not having anyone hurt because if me"
"It's happening, now, they are waiting for you outside to accompany you to wherever you go till this is all sorted out, now go meet them"
"But sir"
"Now"
I huff and storm out the room, I turn around once more and look at him, I know he cares, he doesn't admit it but I know he does, looks like I know him better than I thought I did because I saw compassion and worry in his eyes just for a split second, he masked it quickly but not quick enough, I know this is for my own good but now someone else is gonna get hurt because of it.
I open the door and storm out right into him, my protecter, my guard, my baby sitter, the love of my life
"Steve?"
"Hey you know?"
"Yeah and I'm not happy about it" I say whilst walking off
"Wait I'm sorry but you know it has to be this way"
"Yeah I know I'm sorry it's not your fault"
"Look nat I know fury's harsh but you know he's right"
"Yeah whatever I gotta go" I start to walk off but Steve grabs my arm
"You know I can't let you go alone"
I look at him with furrowed eyebrows, he can't be serious, so now I can't do a simple thing like go to the training room alone
"You are having a joke right, so now I can't go to the training room on my own what the fuck Steve just leave me alone" I shake my arm out of his grip and storm off
"Nat- Natasha wait!" He calls out but I ignore him, I know i might be a bit harsh but I don't need a baby sitter to go to the gym at a shield base
"Nat please"
I don't turn back I just carry on, I hear his footsteps not far behind but I just carry on to my room, the one fury gave me for every time I worked late
"Nat wait"
I finally turn around and look at him
"What?" I ask
"Please it's just for your protection"
"Why? yelena is locked up all her thugs are probably to dumb to think of a plan seriously I'm fine and safe" I lie, I know I'm not safe, her thugs are red room agents, the most deadly of the all and trained in things just like this
"Me and you both know that's a lie"
"If anyone comes for me they'll be dealt with accordingly now I'm going to my room, if that's ok with you?" I say sarcastically, he looks at me and nods and I storm off.
I get to my room and immediately fall onto the bed, and just as I was about to get under the covers there's a knock at the door
"Go away" I huff
"Please I didn't like how we left things" I sigh and trudge over to the door opening it to his blue eyes looking down at me
"Yes?" I ask
He holds up a pillow a blanket and his shield
"You've got to be kidding me" I say
"Nope fury ordered it" he says with a smile
"Nope" I try and shut the door but it's stopped midway by his foot
"Sorry orders are orders" I look at him and huff
"Huh fine" I open the door and let him come in
"You can have the couch"
"Thanks and sorry again for all this"
"It's fine um bathroom and shower through there, kitchen is there, help yourself to whatever's in the fridge and yeah"
"Thanks nat"
"Yeah um there's one rule though" I say with a smile
"Oh god why do I get the feeling it's bad"
"No no it's nothing bad it's just you have to promise that you'll watch at least one Disney movie with me" I say with a laugh
"Hmm Disney I heard of that, what is it again" I laugh and pat a seat next to me on the couch
"Come on I'll show you" I said with a smile, he reluctantly put his things down and sat next to me
"Ok choice of 2 either frozen or just kidding were watching frozen" I say with a laugh
"Haha very funny"
"Glad your so excited to watch it capsicle" I say with a chuckle
"Wow worst pun ever"
"Nah you know it wasn't"
I was just about to press play when my phone rang, I got up to answer it to see the caller ID unknown I stare at it then at Steve
"Nat what's wrong?" He says whilst getting up
"Nothing's wrong I just gotta take this" I move to walk out the door before I get interrupted
"Wait answer it on speaker so I can hear it"
"There's no need fo-"
"Now" he cuts me off
"Hello!" I answer
"Natalia hello nice to hear your voice it's been so long"
"Ivan" I say

(What are you doing) I ask

I speak in Russian hoping that Steve won't understand a word I'm saying

"Ахх юст цатчинг уп щитх сомщ олд фриендс спеакинг оф щхич хощ аре ыоу наталиа и хопе ыел иснт плаыинг хард он ыоу, лике ше усед ыо ин тхе траининг ринг щаы бацк щхен"
(Ahh Natalia just catching up with some old friends speaking of which how are you Natalia? I hope yelena isn't playing to hard on you like she used to do in the training area)

"Well you can fuck off" I spit back
"Ahh I thought I brought you up better than that"
"Nat what's going on?" Steve asks
"Ahh yes yelena told me about you captain about how you interfered with my operation, you will pay for that" he snaps back at Steve
"To hell you will" I spit back
"Anyway we got set off track where were we?"
"The bit were you are being a psychopath thinking I'd actually go back to that place" I shout back
"Ahh yes I remember, well I'm afraid you do not have a choice in that matter my little Спидер (spider) tell me, have you captured yelena yet?"
"What" I ask furiously
"And don't call me that"I add on
"I said have you captured yelena yet just like we wanted?" He asked, I eye Steve and give him a worried look, he gives me the same look back
"Speechless Natalia just like I thought" he shouts into the phone
"Anyway I have an errand to run I've got to go Natalia see you soon very soon my Блацкщидощ" he hangs up, I stand there fazed what, how does he know we have yelena and what does he mean part of the plan, she wanted to get captured
"Shit" I say
"What?" Steve asks
"If you were infiltrating a building and knew nothing about it what would you do?" I ask he thinks for a minute then looks at me worried
"I'd send someone in there to scope the building to know everything about it, where cameras are located, security guard shifts, oh shit"
"And we just walked one of the best assassins straight through the front door" I look at him and run, he catches up quickly and soon were running side by side heading straight for the prison cells.
We finally reach it and rush through the door to see her sitting there facing the wall
"Natalia, just on time" she says whilst smirking, unfortunately realisation hits me a bit to slow
"Get dow-" I'm interrupted by a massive explosion sending me flying into the wall, all I can here is the ringing in my ears and all I can feel is the breeze whipping me across the face, all I see is yelena look down at me in disgust then she jumps, jumps out of a helicarrier I soon see her rise back into my view hanging onto a ladder attached to a stolen quin jet
"See you soon Natalia" is all I mange to hear before I black out.
