It was lunch time and I was talking to Marcus and Emily.
“So let me get this straight you pretty much just woke up one morning and there was a number on your hand” Marcus said looking at my hand “it looks like a tattoo” he said
“hey guys I don’t get it how come when a guy sleeps around its ok but when a girl does it everyone is like whoa watch out here comes the biggest whore in the world” Emily said focusing somewhere else.
“Who knows” I said
“I heard that Titan is a virgin” Emily said
“Really? No wonder Loren sleeps around” I said
“Yeah she doesn’t get any from her man” Emily chuckled
“That must suck” I said eating a chip
“Oh please Jay your still a virgin” Emily told me as if I didn’t know
“So are you, but I think I going to stay one for a while” I told her
“Why do say that?” she asked
“Well the only guy I talk to is Marcus and my parents think he’s gay” I said
“Hey could you focus on the problem here and do your parents really think that” Marcus said to her she mumbled sorry
“The number changed yesterday it was 14 and now today its 13” I said
“Maybe it’s counting down” Emily said putting a fry in her mouth
“Counting down till what” Marcus said

“What did you say jay?” Marcus said looking at me
“I didn’t say anything” I said
“Yes you did you just said Mate” Emily said. Had I just said that or was it my wolf breaking free
“That’s it! don’t you get it” Marcus said
“It’s a count down until you meet your mate” he continued
“Oh great I can’t wait” I said
“What’s wrong” they asked
“What if he hates me or what if he rejects me” I told them
“He won’t” they told me
“I hope not” I said
