Chapter 33: Top Two

It was now the day of the grand finale. Everyone was prepping themselves and meeting up with friends and family who had arrived. Ash, Squid, Stampy, Tom and Finnball had all their friends come along. Squid was looking at a photo of him and Nicole and remembered what she had said. 'You are strong Squid, you have beaten death once already, I bet you can do it again'. This gave Squid some courage and he was a bit happier that day. All day they practiced and by the afternoon they saw their friends and then went backstage to prep for the show. There was then a notification that the show would start in ten mins. The audience was packed. No seats were left. But there was someone else backstage who had hidden herself very well. Nobody knew she was there except her brother. They had a talk about the plan and Michael really hated the plan but no way would he say that to her. All the acts were then called on stage to perform, it was now time to begin the plan.

"Introducing our top three Denice, 35WIL and BRB!" Dermot shouted

The curtains opened up revealing a disco setup stage with everyone in position and 'I Can Only Imagine' started playing.

When the acts went backstage, Michael talked to his sister.

"Why didn't you do it?" Jessabelle asked

"I'm waiting for the right time. When Denice isn't there. She'll get kicked out, I know it" Michael said

"Good thinking"

It was now time them to do their audition songs. (Go back to chapter 3 for BRB's performance. 35WIL sung 'I Will Be' and Denice sung 'Parachute'). This round decided who would be in the top two.

'Ok so the judges have decided who will be in the top two and those acts are 35 WIL and BRB!" Dermot announced. The two groups cheered. So did their friends and family who had come. Squid then knew that he could get killed any time soon by Michael and was scared for his life but was still happy that he'd made it through. The two bands were to do a duet together after the break.
